While the beer tastes good it oddly smelled like soap to me. I am not sure why. It definitely does not taste like it, it is a good beer. I wouldn't order it intentionally but if given it I would drink it and enjoy it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Like most Blue Moon beers this comes in overly sweet and underwhelming on flavor.

Campy877 (189) - Michigan, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a white head and uniform lacing. Aroma is subtle spices and nutmeg. Taste is disappointing as it was advertised as a caramel apple spice but the only flavor your really get is the all spice. And even that is subtle. Too bad, I had high hopes but it is just average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 30, 2013
Aroma is of cinnamon and apple as advertised, unfortunately that is where the enjoyment ends for me. This brew is very mild and barely hints at the flavors that are advertised. Typical Beer for the palate challenged beer drinker.

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler glass. Clear light copper color with a small head. Spicy nose, with nutmeg, caramel, and some cookies. Sweet malt flavor, with slight tartness, fruity (caramelized apple) and spices. Low bitterness. Med body, feels like a winter bock beer. OK but not great.

12 oz. Bottle from a sample case. Pours a nice dark amber with a thick ivory head. Nice looking beer. Aromas of nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, hint of caramel. Medium carbonation on the tongue, light-medium body with flavors of malty caramel, allspice, hint of apple. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. Quite smooth and drinkable. Not bad!

LetsGoState (874) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Aroma is a little sweeter. Taste was a little disappointing - the caramel and spices aren’t nearly as strong as I would like. Overall just too weak.

Drake (13635) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 11, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear red-amber color with a large foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of mild spice, burnt caramel and a strong meaty/salty note. Weird. The taste is heavy spice, apple, caramel. Thin-watery, high carbonation. This is a train wreck.

yarry (528) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2013
Bottle from a sampler on a biz trip in Auburn Hills. 355ml bottle, 5.8% a/v Pours a decent copper color, medium off white head. Aroma is apple cider, cinammon, and nutmeg. The taste is similar with a cider bitterness and mild fall spice taste as well, an interesting mix from a beer I was afraid would be awful. The palate is smooth and very "fall". Overall an impressive execution of a scary sounding beer.
