Bottle from sampler pack. Aroma is very much on the cinnamon and nutmeg, as is the flavor. Little evidence of the apple. Not a very good spiced ale, the base ale is too light to stand up to the heavy spice.

Bottle->Willi. Amber with medium white head. Honts of apple and cinnamon on the nose, flavor of light caramel and spices. Not well done.

Aroma is not strong, but has notes of apple and cinnamon. Tempting! Pours a nice amber with a fairly thick ivory head. Caramel comes forth in the malty flavor, which has fruity and cinnamon hints. Mouthfeel is smooth, but not viscous; fizz is minimal. OK with pizza, though.

Sampled this at the 2013 OBF in Joplin. More spice than apple. Good spice element, but less fruity than one might expect.

Aroma of cinnamon and roast. Taste representative of the aroma. Very light on the flavor. I tried two bottles to see if it was just a single bottle issue. Not a huge fan.

Pours white-off head, copper body, quite good lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg and cardamom with some hints of caramel. Taste is quite sweet, cinnamon-caramel dominant.

Smells like over-ripe banana, but the taste is more subtle. Has a very, very light spiced apple flavor. Just an okay beer.

Just okay. I liked where they were going with this one, but I think the recipe needs some tweaking. --- Beer in my belly makes me hoppy.

Definitely an original. Subtle fruity aroma. Good head and slight lacing. Zero bitterness, creamy textures, nice fruit flavors but wish there was more spice.

Bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a transparent amberish orange with off -white lacing. Smells doughy and malty with a bit of spices. Tastes like it smells, only a little better. Average on the palate. Eh.
