Pour on tap at the Denver Summer Brew Fest, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma has notes of white wine, sweet grapes, some weird lemony tartness with a touch of vanilla, some weird husky grainy notes as well. Taste is very sweet biscuit, lemon, wine and grape notes, some odd grainy notes, finishing fairly sweet. SudsMcDuff (8538) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2012

Bomber. Pours a clear yellow with small white head. The aroma is wheat and yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet fruit and dry finish. A decent Blond from Blue Moon. Chudwick (3423) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUL 18, 2012
750ml bottle (2012) - pours like a lager with slight longer lasting white head and thin lacing. Nose is cardboard, vinous (white wine), and oaky. flavor adds caramel. Taste is quite sweet. Medium body with sticky mouthfeel. I would compare this to watered-down muscat wine. If this really is a blong/gold ale, this might be my favorite from a style I thought I swore off.

The beer pours a very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat notes, with a lot of white wine notes and a hint of pepper. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of chardonnay notes in the flavor - mainly made up of grapes, apples and a hint of cream. I also get some nice wheat notes. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Somewhat surprisingly, I actually really liked this beer. Definitely the best Blue Moon beer I have tried. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Not bad, the white grapes are very bright next to the typical Belgian dblon flavors. I actually liked this more than I thought I would, but think increased yeast character would push this beer up a few notches. mar (5456) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Pale gold with a white head. Nose is dried fruits, grapes, florals, and bubble gum? Easy on the palate, heavy grape with dried fruits, yeast, and a bland finish. bhensonb (15963) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 26, 2012
Capped 750 as 2012 Vintage Blonde Ale from the Folsom BevMo. Pours gld with a fizzy/creamy white head. Looks more like sparkling wine than BudLight. It’s in a Stella glass with the pricklies so the tiny bubbles keep rising. Aroma is vinous - suggesting white grapes - better than Thompson seedless, but mayhap more semillon than chardonnay. Ok. The grape flavor is pretty chardonnay. It seems a bit wheaty, but - ok the subtext says wheat. Drinks pretty nice. Interesting flavor. thornecb (6149) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Pours light gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing. Sour grape aromas. Sweet Chardonnay front to back. Medium length sweet oak finish.
