Pours a very clear yellow color with a huge white head. Smells of wheat and some yeast. Slight grape flavors with some carbonation. Little bit of wine. Decent. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2012
750ml Bottle: Aroma of cereal, grains, and some Chardonnay. Poured gold/champagne in color with a small, fizzy, off-white head that lasts throughout as a film on top of the beer. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of apples, malt, yeast, malt liquor, cereal, grain, and a hint of grapes. Light to medium body. Tingly, then thin texture. Average to lively carbonation. Malt, grain, yeast, finish is medium sweet. 8.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout. dextermorgan (99) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 19, 2012
Sweet, cidery taste, unexpected but not unsurprising for a summer beer from the brand. Tasted on tap at Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival, 6/16/2012. DocLock (11191) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2012
750 from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours medium golden with 3-finger effervescent white head that laces copiously. Nose is heavy vinous fruit, champagne yeast, hopcitrus. Tastes like a semi-sweet white wine, with a lot of carbonation and a smooth, lively palate. Stays fruity throughout, and has pretty good complexity. Loses a bit of cohesion late, but this one was decent. wlajwl (7214) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Aroma is malts, spices, yeast, a hint of the grapes and a slightly perfumed element. The flavor is spices, malts, a hint of bananas, raisins/grapes and a tart fruit finish.

25.4 ounce bottle (750). Very clear golden with a decent white head that lasts a few minutes. The nose is akin to a wheat ale but is not big or distinct. I smell a bit of apple. The feel is smooth. First sip is sweeter wheat and yeast with apples. It almost has a Belgian yeast influence but it doesn’t quite reach it. Sugar that, again, doesn’t quite reach Belgian Candi. Gentle Chardonnay notes are evident giving a vinous facet and pale malts. Some dryness on the finish. Could that be from hops? It is vaguely bitter. An interesting observation is that this could be a mead at the finish. Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 12, 2012
750mL bottle, 2012 vintage. Poured crystal-clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up lots of white grapes and oak over a wheaty base.. warmth brought out really nice melon and floral notes.. a bit too focused on the grape juice, but it was some good stuff. The flavor opened with tangy wheat and vinous notes that carried through the drink.. melon and semi-dry mead-like accents.. lots of melon and some white pepper on the dry finish. Light-medium bodied with prickly carbonation on the palate.. on the sweeter side.. OK feel and flow.. overall a solid brew. rocbyter (2187) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Mild malt and grain aroma. Clear light golden color with a medium white head that disappears quickly. Sweet chardonnay taste throughout. Isn’t dry like the wine and for that I’ll give it a 4 for palate. beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 9, 2012
This is a surprising beer. Pale in color, doesnt hold it’s head. Pear like nose. Apple and pear characteristics, just like a chardonnay, (how ’bout that). Could be more effervescent. Overall its too sweet for me, it lacks the hop presence I would look for from a blond. Its very tasty and fun to drink but proabily would not get again. This would be a fun beer to surprise your friends that like white semi sweet wines. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JUN 5, 2012
Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is apple-grape juice. Flavor is sweet, pear and apple, very sweet, could use something to balance it .
