10th October 2008. GABF. Leaving the hall at the end of the session a Blue Moon rep pounced with this beer so what the hell! Pale gold beer. Light crisp palate. More than a bit surprised to find the grapes do give this beer a winey slant and with the crisp palate it is a decent beer. Just wish I’d tried their Peanut Beer now.... bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 26, 2012
Capped 750 as 2012 Vintage Blonde Ale from the Folsom BevMo. Pours gld with a fizzy/creamy white head. Looks more like sparkling wine than BudLight. It’s in a Stella glass with the pricklies so the tiny bubbles keep rising. Aroma is vinous - suggesting white grapes - better than Thompson seedless, but mayhap more semillon than chardonnay. Ok. The grape flavor is pretty chardonnay. It seems a bit wheaty, but - ok the subtext says wheat. Drinks pretty nice. Interesting flavor. Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 22, 2006
On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear yellow with a creamy lasting white head. Aromas of grapes, bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, grapes and a hint of apple with a smooth finish. djd07 (14521) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Bomber. Pours a clear yellow with small white head. The aroma is wheat and yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet fruit and dry finish. A decent Blond from Blue Moon. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 25, 2008
(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of sweet chardonnay and cereal. Flavor resembles a light lager mixed with a bottle of Chardonnay...

750 from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours medium golden with 3-finger effervescent white head that laces copiously. Nose is heavy vinous fruit, champagne yeast, hopcitrus. Tastes like a semi-sweet white wine, with a lot of carbonation and a smooth, lively palate. Stays fruity throughout, and has pretty good complexity. Loses a bit of cohesion late, but this one was decent. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Foco a while back. Bottle titled Vintage 2012. Pours a touch hazy yellow appearance with a dissipating white head. Somewhat zesty/spicy, white wine, grape, pear, a bit musty aroma. Fairly sweet malty, a bit sugary, white grape, apple, pear, light banana, somewhat tangy flavor. Fairly decent but kind of a one-dimensional fruit bomb that’s not even that dry. DuffMan (10435) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 22, 2013
Bottle, shared with Ian and Colin over a game of Power Grid. Lager-like pour, medium gold, average head, poor retention. Aroma is sweet, perhaps suggestive of white grape juice, but mostly sweet grains. Flavour is sweet, like soda, like Canada Dry ginger ale mixed with a basic sweet lager. Not my thing at all, not even as a summer beer. Drain pour actually. deanso (10141) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 2, 2011
Hazy blond pour. Thick white head. An ok wit beer. Nothing special onceblind (9689) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 4, 2012
On hand at Denver Summer Beer Fest 2012, as "Blue Moon Vintage Blonde". Clear light golden with a nice aroma of light grapes and crisp champagne yeast. Flavor is much the same but more bold. Big white grape flavor with a bit of sharpness to it, followed by some wheaty citrus and a dry wine yeast tone.
