A beer for dinner for those who don’t like wine. One can imagine someone with a cigar in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. In this beer you have the wine flavor that is not over-powering. Not the type of beer one would chug but rather injoy the flavors. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - DEC 2, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2012 25.4oz Pours a clear yellow with a bubbly white head. Aroma of wheat, Chardonnay, and grapes. Warm Chardonnay feeling in the throat. Taste like Chardonnay, wheat, and grapes. Active carbonation makes it very easy to drink. Sweet and dry finish. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 25, 2009

Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured fruity and hoppy with a crisp slightly dry and creamy malt finish. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 22, 2011
Draft at GABF. Easily the best Blue Moon beer. Pours an attractive, slightly hazed blonde with a fluffy white head. The nose offers some nice vinous notes, white wine and toast. on tasting, offers a nice tartness and it’s quite clean. The chardonnay notes really come through and make this really refreshing. Surprisingly good beer. RB1 (118) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUN 4, 2012
750ml. bottle, purchased at Total Wine SanTan Village, Gilbert, AZ. Pour is clear and golden, with a small to moderate head that diminishes to a small ring. Nice carbonation. Looks like a pilsner. Aroma is yeasty and vinous, with apples, bananas and grapes. Taste is minutely tart, sweet and refreshingly wine-like. Grapes dominate, with some bitterness. Finish is sweet then bitter. This ale is as much like a wine as a beer. Nicely done.

The beer pours a very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat notes, with a lot of white wine notes and a hint of pepper. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of chardonnay notes in the flavor - mainly made up of grapes, apples and a hint of cream. I also get some nice wheat notes. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Somewhat surprisingly, I actually really liked this beer. Definitely the best Blue Moon beer I have tried. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 5, 2013
Interesting offering. Aromas of malt, yeast, and grapes. Sweet flavor maybe a bit heavy on the grape juice but still respectable I would still try it again. I wonder if cellaring this one would help it evolve a bit. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - OCT 26, 2006
GABF 2006: Clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma of white wine and grapes. Malty and cereal flavor. Hint of wine notes in the flavor. Not bad. wlajwl (6742) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Aroma is malts, spices, yeast, a hint of the grapes and a slightly perfumed element. The flavor is spices, malts, a hint of bananas, raisins/grapes and a tart fruit finish. GL2814 (361) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 2, 2012
This was awesome! All the great flavors of regular blue moon, but with a grape/wine sweetness as well. Really good.
