Hits the nose kind of like pine, spice, and piss. First it tastes like a sharp wheat ale and then very soon after the incredibly disgusting aftertaste begins. It takes a few seconds to reach peak nastiness (the label calls it "tart") and then it continues to linger in the mouth for a long time. I poured it out after drinking half the bottle. It actually burned my throat like stomach acid for quite a while after I stopped drinking it until I washed it down with something sweet. Medium to high carbonation. Kind of sharp going down. I had it from the bottle. You still get a little fruity yeast aroma. The taste is tart fruit, wheat, and a hint of pepper on the back end. The mouth feel is carbonated yet creamy and balanced. UPDATED: JUN 21, 2015 Picked up two as part of a variety pack. I hope the other offerings are better. This has a very odd flavor, which I guess is created by the white pepper. Sometimes brewmaster?s try to hard to be creative and fail. This is one of those times.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a Samuel Adams tasting glass.
Appearance: The body has a medium amber color with a light haze. The pour produced a small just off white head which quickly settles down to thin wispy layer.
Smell: There are some hints of bready maltiness with some vague fruity notes in the background.

Maybe we need to take up a collection and buy Blue Moon a dictionary? I’m getting essentially no saison character whatsoever, and only the weakest of tartness as the nominal “flanders-style” aspect. Coriander is more witbier than saison, and the yeasty tones just smell like bog standard Blue Moon. It’s not terrible, but it’s not what it says on the label, either. The aroma is dry grain and an odd strawberry smell.
The taste has a mildly tart start then into a mild sweet finish.
The texture is light with too much fizz.

Pours a clear coppery color with off-white head. Caramel malt and some spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes bland.
