This is actually pretty good. It has the nice sweet undertone of Abbey;d with a lower alc. percentage rendering itit less heavy. It had a hint of regular Bluie Moon in it andl felt it was an overall good drink. pauljackson1 (25) - Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA - FEB 16, 2009
Top quality beer for the money. A nice malty and full-flavoered winter ale. ronjustron (22) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 30, 2011
A great beer for the winter time. Certainly reminds me of a bock type beer and you can certainly taste the roasted malt on your palate and the finish. A great bouquet and great tasting beer. tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015
I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

Dark amber in color with a nice off white head. This had a unique, almost indescribeable taste to it. It started off with a slightly roasty taste but finished very crisp with a great flavor I cant describe. Im not a huge fan of blue moon so I wasnt expecting much out of this one but I was surprised at how good it was. This was a very good beer and went well on a day where the temperature was minus 9 degrees
