Odd beer. Sorry, but leave my pumpkins on the front porch with a candle please. I have tried this several times, and just cannot get used to the flavor. boto (2267) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 29, 2001
Pumpkin beer is an aquired taste, but this is a very good rendition......... Shazbat (100) - USA - FEB 5, 2001
This is without a doubt, one of the worst beers I have ever had. I was expecting a spiced pumpkin-pie-ish flavor, not the flavor of unsweetened squash. Gusler (2652) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 25, 2000
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2005 After the crown is removed and the beer poured in to a nice clean nonick glass it appears a slightly hazy amber with a distinct orange tint, the head smallish and frothy, the lace scraggly and off white in color. Nose is spicy pumpkin and sweet malt, start is sweet with a fair to middling grain presence and the top light to moderate in feel. Finish has a decent acidity, the hops adequate, very dry aftertaste, just another ho-hum pumpkin beer. mike mcneil (660) - St Augustine, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2000
A superb autumn seasonal. Like a slice of pumpkin pie in a bottle. All the traditional spices are present. A beautiful orange-amber color to match the rich flavor. One of the best of the pumpkin beers on the market along with Buffalo Bills.
