750 ml bottle. Dark red wine color. Pours with a pink head. First taste comes with the aroma of light wine and grapes. Then a flavor of beer and almost champagne. Then wine taste continues with an aftertaste . Best ice cold.

From .750 l bottle.
Cherry red with little head. Winey aroma, winey taste, not beery good.
(Sorry - that pun was uncalled for, and just bad... but so was the beer.)
Blue Moon with orange is a darn fine summer beer. BlueMoon on wine, not so much.

750 ml. bottle- Pours a nice hazy ruby red with a thin light pink head that reduces to a collar. Aroma is grapes, musty overripe grapes, maybe wheat. Taste is fruity, cab sauv grapes really resonate, they could have made this more complex, but it doesn’t taste all that bad. The body is medium light and carbonation is medium. This is okay, not anything I would want a bunch of, but not horrible either. It does become tiresome after awhile, a 12 oz bottle would have been more than enough, and the grapes they used seem low quality, like the grapes that weren’t good enough to make wine out of they just sold off to whoever would buy them. Pours a dark cherry red with little to no head. Smells like Cabernet wine without strongly smelling exclusively like wine. Tastes like a carbonated grape juice. Only hint of beer is on the finish, you get a faint note of wheat. Different kind of cool approach from Blue Moon here. Not a big wine fan, but could really see a girlfriend or wife enjoying this.

Pours a maroon with a foamy head. Aroma of grape juice and malt. No hops. Taste is an overly sweet grape juice. I really get no beer flavor from

Bottle at BTBF. Glad I didn’t have to pay for a whole bottle to get this tick. Pours with a pink hued body and a foamy white head. Aromas are of grapes, koolaid and VDK Diacetyl. Minimal malt, no hops. Flavors are of champagne, generic concord grapes, sulfur, lightly grainy. Sort of tastes like a crappy sangria. Lively/fizzy bubbles, dry and thin. douglas88 (9174) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 11, 2013
750 ml from a liquor store in Jackson, WY. Fancy gold foil. Pours a deep purple color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. The wheat base fits pretty well with the grape juice, some light yeast, sweet grapes. Decent. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - MAY 3, 2013
750 ml foil-capped bottle. Expired about a month ago. Pours a pretty hazy ruby red with a purple-white head with decent retention. Smells just like red wine at first--after it sits awhile, a strange funky cheesiness sets in; smells a little like fruit gone bad, as well. Tastes like a cheap red wine--Riunite Lambrusco immediately springs to mind. A little sweet, a little sour; finishes dry and lightly bitter. Thin body, high carbonation. Along with the off-notes, there’s something missing here that would have let me look past them a bit, maybe. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 22, 2013
Looks as good as a strong fruity raspberry or cherry beer, but the aroma is very off. My wife likes the aroma but I hate it. The flavor and the beer both have plenty of butter, esp. the beer. I am surprised by how poorly the beer sits, considering how decent some of the other Blue Moons sit. unclemike (3121) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle. Pours grape with pink purple head. Nose and taste of grape juice, wheat malt and hints of banana. Some metallic notes. Light bodied. Not very good
