Pretty much an opaque dark red beer with a tidy pale pink head. Palate is crispy and fresh, semi dry. Smooth malt, light and a perfect base for the lovely light grape. Slightly winey with touches of red and black berry fruits. Finishes light and minerally. Drinks well below it’s abv. Honestly all these shit rates? Really? Are you guys sure you are not rating the brewery instead of the beer in front of you?

Bottle. Pours grape with pink purple head. Nose and taste of grape juice, wheat malt and hints of banana. Some metallic notes. Light bodied. Not very good.

Bomber from the Vacaville BevMo. Pours dark and very ruddy. Beautiful. Like the grape color hung in there. No head to mention. Aroma is vinous. Or like that. It is unusual, but quite attractive. Med body. Not heavily carbonated. Initial hit was- oh no, this isn’t going to be Welches? But a split second later it clearly was not, and the cabernet aspect was quite definite. If you’re a cab fan, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s pretty. Very good, considering it’s a wheat beer. Very good anyway. My respect for Blue Moon just went up by leaps and heaps.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape juice and wood. Thin mouth, boozy, light grape flavor, slight metallic finish, not much going on with this one.

750 ml bottle poured a hazy burgandy with a small lingering pinkish head. Aromas of red grapes, wheat, straw and light sour apple. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, straw, red grapes and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering red grape finish.

Tmoney99 (15032) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear reddish amber color with an average fizzy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet grape aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet grape flavor and a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. High alcohol grape juice.

(750ml bottle, BB Apr 01 13) Pours a clear ruby red body with a small pink head. Aroma of cabernet sauvignon grapes, rose, and raspberries. Flavor of cabernet sauvignon and wheat with a dry finish.

Bottle. Poured a rubish color with a small sized head. Definitely grapes ...more of an artificial grape juice that I just couldn’t get past.

possibly the best thing I’ve had with Blue Moon on the label, but far more expensive as well, in the big bottle. Glad not to have paid :) Look and feel are more fizzy than anything else. Flavor and aroma of grape/berry/oak is not bad.

Draft. Cheap red wine and wheat malt aroma. Red with pink head. Watered down red wine flavor. Like a bad red wine spritzer.
