This is shit. Blue moon that someone mixed in some old, stale ass box wine. I found nothing appealing in this beer. Poor effort, and I should have known better. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Papered bomber from Wegman’s about 9 months or so ago, roughly, just an estimate. This one has been in my fridge awhile, like a two-bit whore, because you don;t want to consume her until you are desperate. I’m not desperate, just in a new rating mood, and a beer fridge cleaning mood. Without further adieu, here goes. Pours blush colored with minimal head. Nose is slightly concord grapey wheat ale. Tastes like a grape wine coller, semi-dry. I’m dumping 18/22 ounces of this, yet another gimmick "beer" from these assholes. cubs (10634) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilburs Fort Collins. Pours like Strawberry Kool-aid: red violet appearance with a small pink head. Musty, nasty red grape, cheap wine, juicy, plum aroma. Boozy, tangy red grape, kind of jammy berry, light granola, shitty wine flavor. Wow, this is some rancid shit. DuffMan (10421) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 17, 2015
Bottle, shared at game night. Purpley and bubbly, with a quick fading light purple head. Vinous grape juice, sweet, clumsy, lacking complexity, too sweet, cloying. I can’t shake the feeling that I’m drinking cheap bum wine. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 17, 2013
On tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest (CWBF) 2013. Clear reddish pink color. Minimal white head. Cranberry nose. Not as grapey. Pronounced, soft carbonation. Dry texture. Macro blue moon feel to it. More berry than grape, as far as fruits. Feels articificial. Kind of sweet taste. Not interesting at all, but very macro. No complexity.

Pours out a dark cherry hue with a pinkish fizzy head that disappears fast. Nice nose of red berries and red grapes with a sweet touch of Riesling and port. Unfortunately the flavor is a bit light with wheat tones that are somewhat unnecessary, with a grapey wine acidity. Still has some lovely red fruit and port tones but it’s not something I could do a whole bottle of. douglas88 (9174) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 11, 2013
750 ml from a liquor store in Jackson, WY. Fancy gold foil. Pours a deep purple color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. The wheat base fits pretty well with the grape juice, some light yeast, sweet grapes. Decent. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - SEP 22, 2013
big moody bottle, happy someone bought this to a share, would never pay more than a couple bucks for this .. . pours a light purple .. low foam .. . actually much better than i thought it would be .. still very thin though .. . some berry and kids grape juice .. . . don’t be a dud, give some blood! bytemesis (8349) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 18, 2014
Bottle, cellared for 18 months. Pours hazy purple, small purple head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is grape soda and wheat. Flavor is light sweet, grape, vinous, low bitterness; a bit of grape must. Medium body, high carbonation. Not terrible. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Bottle at BTBF. Glad I didn’t have to pay for a whole bottle to get this tick. Pours with a pink hued body and a foamy white head. Aromas are of grapes, koolaid and VDK Diacetyl. Minimal malt, no hops. Flavors are of champagne, generic concord grapes, sulfur, lightly grainy. Sort of tastes like a crappy sangria. Lively/fizzy bubbles, dry and thin.
