Pours the cabernet color with a pink head like a kriek. Flavor is a light cab with a malty backbone...an interesting hybrid.
Bottle. Poured a rubish color with a small sized head. Definitely grapes ...more of an artificial grape juice that I just couldn’t get past. JPDIPSO (6293) - Wauwatosa, USA - JAN 25, 2017
An amber and pinot red wine color with a quickly diminished lavender colored head. Communal red wine scent. Flavors of ripple and hints of malt. Not much to add on this. 7/13 slowrunner77 (12994) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 4, 2015
possibly the best thing I’ve had with Blue Moon on the label, but far more expensive as well, in the big bottle. Glad not to have paid :) Look and feel are more fizzy than anything else. Flavor and aroma of grape/berry/oak is not bad. djd07 (15651) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 18, 2015
Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape juice and wood. Thin mouth, boozy, light grape flavor, slight metallic finish, not much going on with this one. DuffMan (10727) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 17, 2015
Bottle, shared at game night. Purpley and bubbly, with a quick fading light purple head. Vinous grape juice, sweet, clumsy, lacking complexity, too sweet, cloying. I can’t shake the feeling that I’m drinking cheap bum wine.

Bottle, cellared for 18 months. Pours hazy purple, small purple head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is grape soda and wheat. Flavor is light sweet, grape, vinous, low bitterness; a bit of grape must. Medium body, high carbonation. Not terrible. DocLock (11108) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Papered bomber from Wegman’s about 9 months or so ago, roughly, just an estimate. This one has been in my fridge awhile, like a two-bit whore, because you don;t want to consume her until you are desperate. I’m not desperate, just in a new rating mood, and a beer fridge cleaning mood. Without further adieu, here goes. Pours blush colored with minimal head. Nose is slightly concord grapey wheat ale. Tastes like a grape wine coller, semi-dry. I’m dumping 18/22 ounces of this, yet another gimmick "beer" from these assholes. onceblind (10697) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Pours out a dark cherry hue with a pinkish fizzy head that disappears fast. Nice nose of red berries and red grapes with a sweet touch of Riesling and port. Unfortunately the flavor is a bit light with wheat tones that are somewhat unnecessary, with a grapey wine acidity. Still has some lovely red fruit and port tones but it’s not something I could do a whole bottle of. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JUN 20, 2014
THOUGHTS: Very nice. Not being a wine guy at all, I was surprised I liked this so much. A nice blend of beer and wine. It was a little more like wine than the Proximity just because of the red wine having stronger flavors and aromas than whites.
TECHNICAL: Drank 3/4/2013. Bottle. Poured a clear, dark, red with nice carbonation and an average, fluffy, pink head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma contained very light wheat, grape, red wine, vanilla, grape skins and hints of wood. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly acidic and ever so slightly sour; while the finish was lightly sweet, moderately acidic and slightly sour with an average duration. There was red wine, wheat, grapes, hits of vanilla and wool, tobacco and light yeast. The light to medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and slightly alcoholic finish.
