Pours a translucent orange amber with a medium creamy white head. Aroma of orange, cereal grains, floral notes and a touch of caramel. Flavor of orange, caramel, malty sweetness, hard candy and cereal grains. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - DEC 20, 2008
12oz bottle. Definitely the worst of the blue moon beers thus far (seems like I just said that about ful moon a couple days ago, haha). Slight aroma of malt and yeast. Thin, harshly carbonated body with a touch of malt and some rough bitterness with a bit of alcohol in the finish. They really meant just a touch of orange peel and hibiscus, ditto on the cascades. Stick to regular blue moon belgian white and you will be a happier camper. That at least is a passable wit, but this is an awful pale ale that has nothing remotely Belgian going on with it. A crappy attempt at a Belgian ale. Aroma was stale malt and biscuit. Pour was a medium gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very sweet and wet. Strong malt with not much else going on. Decent carbonation with a light fruity aftertaste. The commercial description is right. This IS the complexity I would expect from Blue Moon. cheap (6203) - CHINA - DEC 16, 2008
Seems to be a mild APA. Has some bitter hop attributes. Finish has some personality sneaking in there.

This was tolerable I guess. It really didnt show much Belgian character, surprise. Poured clearer than I was expecting. Moderately earthy and hoppy in the nose and flavor. Some sweetness. Just not much going on.

POURS A COPPER COLOR. IT IS A BIT TO HOPPY FOR A PALE ALE. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING AND IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BELGIUM IN ITS NAME BECAUSE BELGIUM IT DEFINITELY IS NOT. OK IF FOR FREE BUT I WOULD NEVER BUY IT. BeerHawk (1811) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - DEC 14, 2008
Bottle shared by lithy. Poured orange with a thin off-white head. Decent hop aroma with some spices, butter, and corn backing. Sweet malt flavor with some light spices. Light body. Decent. pintocb (654) - Hoon, Georgia, USA - DEC 9, 2008
Copper color. Good dose of cascade in the nose. Flavor is decent, but after taste is awful. Close to being good, but not there. Underhook (162) - Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2008
Pours copper brown very little head dissipates right away Smells overly malty no real hop aroma Taste is overly carbonated lots of malt some grain Not very yeasty Drinkable yet too carbonated Fair effort but Id rather have a different brand Belgian if I had the choice
I apologize for the lack of punctuation but rate beer is being a pain in the ass lately so I really have no choice Apparently commas and periods are too much for the website to process at this point craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2008
Pours a light amber with average head. Aroma is soapy, with some light malt and grain. Flavor stronger with hop, malt, and yeast, also some citrus notes. Decent brew, quite drinkable.
