Bottle from Ron. Yes, a bit pine dominated. But also acted like an American Strong more than IIPA. Decent not great. Clear, dark orange. Little head and lace. Booze, caramel and pine in nose. Same in taste. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - AUG 31, 2015
a joke beer that was not offensive. Lightly piney, and thats it, Thin and boring with some pine flavors. Malts were dark and sweet but light in body, so light quantity molasses flavors. coldbrewky (1730) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - AUG 26, 2015
After briefly scanning thru the ratings, It seems that this critter varies significantly. Bomber via Apu’s rip and run. Intense piney and hop laden nose on heavy malts. It made me think of what once was SNBigfoot. Medium amber pour. Mouth feel was somewhat less intense but funky pine thru and thru. I am assuming this is the juniper acting its part. DIPA...sure. not a smack you in the face one...but highly enjoyable. Solid malts are secondary. Finish abrupt. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Pretty much rotbox garbage but tickers gotta tick. Murky cola brow pour with tan head. Aroma is earthy sweet tea, nutty, and caramel. I just taste carbonated earthy tea and not much else. DenverLogan (1237) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 10, 2015
From a 22 oz bottle into a Saxo stem glass. Pours golden amber with head and lace. Aroma of wet towels and pine needles. Medium carbonation and significant mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, straw hops, minerals, pine, citrus, bitter herbs. Overall bold, flavorful, OK.

Pour from a 22oz bomber. Dazzeling clear tawny amber brew with slightly off white head. Nice aroma of pine and earth. Taste is resin up front offset by moderate malts, seems to lose momentum and ends with a moderate degree of pine, earth and lingering sweetness. Overall a rock solid DIPA. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Sampled at GABF 2014. Pours a light golden body wiht white lacing. Aroma is pine, light alcohol spice and subtle caramel malt character. Mouthfeel is light to medium with notes of pine, resin, bitter hop, clean caramel malt. Not a terrible beer! davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 27, 2014
From the bottle. Great hoppy taste, wuth a nice balance. The bitterness lingers for a long time. DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Bomber from Capone’s. Hazy dark straw pour with off-white head, Very reiny hoppy nose, with some caramel malt, and a hoppy flavor that got a bit bitter and malt-light at the finish. OK. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Tasted on 2/8/14 from a bottle at the hotel after the RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours hazy orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to average, sticky lace. The nose is full of pine resin and juniper, almost like some gin snuck into a fairly malty IPA. The flavor is even more bitter than anticipated, dominated by the pine resin and juniper, with just a bit of caramel malt backing everything up. The body is lighter than I expected with lively carbonation and a long bitter resin and herbal juniper finish.
