Bottle shared by a friend. Pours a pale yellow golden color with a large foamy off-white head. The aroma and flavor have a big white wine character, light wheat malts, sweet honey and floral notes while the alochol level is really well hidden. Light, spritzy body. Overall, this beer isn’t bad. This beer is too expensive for what it is. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAR 15, 2014
It doesn’t really work. The wheat ale is good enough. But it tastes like Welch’s was dumped in. Surprisingly. Mild for the ABV too. KornDogg (570) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Bottle. Light grape aroma. Clear golden body with thin, dissipating head. Flavor begins sweet with hints of grape and pear. Tastes like a carbonated juice, no hints of alcohol, hides the abv well. A very different beer... keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2014

Appearance: Crystal clear golden body showing off lots of carbonation. The short white head quickly dissipates, very thin and frail texture.
Aroma: The aroma is sweet of apple juice and honeysuckle with a hint of sweet tangerine.
Taste: The flavor leans sweet with honey undertones with apple and orange throughout. Very fruity.
Palate: Full-bodied yet spritzy.
Overall: This is past the best before date but it drinks very nicely. This is a great beer to share with wine drinkers, it merges the styles very nicely.
Aroma and taste of grapes. It is more similar to a grape juice than to wine, but it is a nice drink. Not much of an aftertaste.

750 ml bottle, best by date of Oct2113 stamped on the bottle. Guess I’ve had this in the fridge a while! Served in a tulip, the beer pours a clear dark gold color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention is decent, and there isn’t much lacing at all. Aroma is nice but very light, the brew smells like bready/wheat malt, white grapes and a bit of booziness. It tastes like bready/wheat malt, tart grape juice, white grapes, and some floralness. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and coating with moderate carbonation. I’m thinking I might have waited too long to drink this one, but it really wasn’t bad at all. Still, if this is ever released again in the future I should try this fresher to see how it is. Some raisin, some alcohol, pale, sparkling, white foam, light sweetness, fizzy. Nice fresh beer for a sunny day. reberiii (497) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Winey nose, super crisp and effervescent. Amber with little to no head retention. More like a wine than a beer. Goes down like a light beer, but at 8.5%.NOTE: Not a good beer with wings. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a clear, dark gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma of white grape juice with a little dank wheat. Taste is slightly tart, winey grape juice with a little wheat. Light bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Overall, not bad. Drinkable and enjoyable, but I was expecting more. madmitch76 (26366) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013

Clear bright gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth, turning a little dry. Fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malt and a nicely judged amount of grape. Not cloying and not acid. Minerally finish with lager like pale malt character. Light and refreshing.
