Bottle. Tan brown color. Small head. Looks like apple juice. Smells and tastes mildly sweet without overdoing it. Not great, but I like the effort from the macros lately cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a clear, light yellow appearance with a small, dissipating white head. Dry apple, pear, white grape, somewhat spicy, fluffy white birthday cake aroma. Sweet white grape, pear, apple, somewhat juicy, sweet wheat flavor that dries out a bit on the finish. Kind of interesting idea but didn’t turn out all that great. BMan1113VR (7929) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Bottle at BTBF. So happy I didn’t have to pay for a whole bottle to tick. Pours with a clear yellow hued body with a white head. Aromas are grapey (generic), bland malt, chlorine. Flavors are dry and a bit champagne like, medium sulfur, fruity, low ester. Dry with moderate carbonation. nealblind (1977) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Yellow clear pour. Smells of white wine, peaches, juice. Tastes like half wheat/half white wine-very good at representing both. Boring one not though. palate is bad. not much body & overly carbed. Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2014
The wine notes are apparent in the aroma, and it blends nicely with the sweet wheat. Pours a clear light straw with a full white head. The grape juice is still there and was apparently added after fermentation was complete, as it adds a lot of sweetness. Light bodied, easy drinking. I’m surprised they got the alcohol as high as they did with this much residual sweetness. Glad I tried it, but probably would not get it again.

OK. Faint aroma of grape. Pretty ginger and pear color. Wine-like character in the weight and palate. Flavor was like alcoholic grape juice. Not very complex and was hoping for a little more. Strykzone (7659) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 18, 2013
750. Very clear gold with a noisy white head. Light carbonation drifts up. A light aroma of wood, wheat, and vinous notes. The feel is much more vinous than beer with no carbonation. The flavor matches the nose and it is sweet with soft grapes and wood leading. If you like wine you will like this beer. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 20, 2013
750mL bottle. Poured clear, bright golden with rising carbonation and a short, but well-retained white head. The aroma picked up sweet wheat, lemony notes, and sparkling grape juice.. buttery pale malts and honey beneath.. quite strong and sweet. The flavor found prickly carbonation, apple skins, and wheat on the tip of the tongue, with honey and sweetened grape juice following.. tangy wheat, cloves, and sweet vinous notes fought on the sharp-ish finish. Medium-bodied with fairly aggressive carbonation on the palate.. didn’t flow very well.. this was just OK. Tmoney99 (14978) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle. Poured a clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fairing. Moderate wheat and grape aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium grape flavor with a medium sweet grape finish of moderate duration. This is a soft beer.
