2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A bit disappointing, however a very drinkable beer. Samuel Adams White ale is a much better spring brew. I think this beer needs some coriander or something, it was really missing a strong flavor of any kind. Low on taste overall for an ale.
Originally rated on 7/12/08. An orange- amber colored body minimal carbonation, small head. There wasnt much of an aroma to speak of, the flavor was rather dull, no hint of lime anywhere, just grainy taste. i got a headache from this stuff, i wont purchase it again. Hard to find anything wrong with this beer, but at the same time I’m searching for something great that stands out.....and can’t find much. It’s a little better than average, but since there are SOOO many great beers out there I pretty much give it an across the board average rating. Slightly better than average appearance, which has a very light orange/clear golden color. A thin, lighter beer with hints of wheat, lime, and other citrus flavor. Been there, done that, but will probably pass next time and try something new. slowrunner77 (12139) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2014
"an ok offering. lite in aroma and flavor with some citrus (orange peel) and honey definitely present. doesn’t do much to distinguish itself, but not offensive either."

"pours a yellow golden color with a very thick, fluffy, slightly off-white head, with some bubbles and little-to-no lacing. The aroma is faint, but one can detect a touch of lemon zest and white bread. The taste is of white wheat bread, lemons, orange, and just a tiny amount of hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium and somewhat soft, and somewhat finishes refreshing." DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Not awful but what can you expect from blue moon spin-offs, interesting wheat ale, trying to be a microbrew but cannot get away from BM.

Nice amber/cider color; Light to medium body; Aroma of wheat, caramel, & some fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, wheat, caramel, some fruit, and lime; Decent overall. ads135 (4716) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 16, 2012
Sometimes, retirement is a good thing. I’m not sure what they made this out of, but it seems more like corn than wheat. The lime is unnecessary, or at least unnecessarily metallic. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2012
2010 vintage bottle from the back of my buddies "beer fridge"!! This did not age too badly. Typical skunky blue moon wheat with a little roses lime juice. Meh, it was probably much better fresh. Apryde6226 (2) - - OCT 12, 2012 does not count
In the Kansas City area, this is not easily found. Very good for what’s turning into a mass produced product. KickInChalice (860) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2012
From notes. First reviewed 5/2/2010. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
The head bubbles up to 3 cm as I pour it, but before I put the bottle down it is completely gone. Very pale golden amber color, with light visible carbonation rising in the glass.
Trying to find any real aroma here almost made me think I had a cold. There is just nothing there. Some subdued malt aroma, nothing related to lime or citrus.
Extremely processed sort of taste. More corn than malt flavor; what malt is there is of the pale variety. Lime shows up as it warms a little bit. Finishes sweet and chemically smooth.
Fizzy soda pop tingling sensation from the carbonation, but only a little bit crisp. Mostly watery in a light-to-medium body. Almost a chemical residue after each sip.
This was a very boring beer. I might adjust rankings if this was moved to the adjunct category, but as is, this is just not worth drinking.
