2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A- Odorless, bland, subtle caramel.
A- Copper color, hazy liquid, minimal head.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, abrupt finish.
O- A poor representation of a Belgian Ale. Not only that, but this has hardly any taste or aroma or anything. If I close my eyes, I could swear I was drinking water. Just a disappointment.
Dark orange/amber color with a modest, ecru head. Simple aromas, with some caramel, fruit, floral hops and touch of biscuits and grain. Very sweet start, with brown sugar and over-ripe fruit. Finish is pithy and nutty. An amber by any other name… 4/13

Red Amber color, foam head. Lots of carbonation. Malt aroma. Caramel malt taste with a barely noticeable touch of floral hops on the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel. Claves77 (260) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Nice amber appearance, mild smell doesn’t taste like much but cheaper knock off. Not sure of the taste except it isn’t great, lit going on without a pale taste dominating ozzy70 (1264) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 7, 2015
12 oz. bottle at home. Pours orange/amber. Aroma of malt, caramel. Taste, a little bitter for me. Not a favorite. AAEA (266) - California, USA - JUN 20, 2015
12FL OZ ($14.99 12pack) was a pretty good beer, best in the box of 6 flvors. gets a heavy rating pan by the critics but if you encounter this box, drink this and the farmhouse red and you’ll be oak.

Better than most of their beers. Slight nutty aroma masks the pale malt used in most Coors products. Pretty amber color with a lot of foam. Light palate and carbonated. Slight roasted character with a clean finish. citydave (69) - - JUN 14, 2015
Pour from 12 oz. Amber, almost no head. Raisins and other dark fruit, pears, and malt in aroma. Taste is of the same, but more watery than of most other Belgians. UXO (1896) - CANADA - JUN 7, 2015
Pours clear pale to medium amber with one finger of loose light tan head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Nose is caramel malt, orange peel, floral. (5/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (5/10) Medium body, lively carbonation, sweetish medium duration finish. (3/5)
Worst. BPA. Ever. OK, fine, it’s a bit past its best before, but still. This is another one from the Expressionist series that is perfectly fine (well, OK, serviceable) on its own merits, but bears little or no resemblance to the style it’s claiming to be. Only the faintest hints of Belgian style to this, and certainly not crisp and dry the way I like BPA’s to be. Better than a macro lager, if not by much. Rated based on notes taken 5 May 2012 -- It’s ok. Not great. Won’t seek this beer out to have again. Bif (2307) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - APR 29, 2015
Bottle. Pours a dark color color with a fair head. Aroma of citrus, light fruit and hint of malt sweetness. Taste of malt sweetness and light fruit. Mold bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body, smooth and flavorful. Easy drinker. Much better than expected.
