bottle - Pours clear amber with a small tan head. It has a mild spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet with caramel, minimal hops, and plenty of cinnamon spice. It has a bubbly palate and actually works pretty well. TH28 (451) - - MAR 16, 2013
Deep amber color with thick slightly off white foam cap. Aroma is strong cinnamon and brown sugar. Taste deep caramel malt at first, with cinnamon on the back side. Cinnamon gradually fades on the finish without being unpleasant. Interesting style, yet very sessionable on a cold day. tampierre (1387) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 7, 2013
Bottled 355ml ; Devon ; UK ; Sweet malt, clove, apple and cinnamon aroma ; Clear light brown color with medium head ; Sweet taste of malt and spices ; Ideal for winter evenings. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 4, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, medium amber with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up lots of cinnamon and nutmeg over toasted bread and molasses notes.. some orange peel toward the back of the nose.. wintery and welcoming. The flavor found soft bread and caramel at the core, with tangy wheat, orange peel, cinnamon, and nutmeg around.. finished spicy and warm. Medium-bodied with creamy carbonation on the palate.. well-balanced and tasty. HighWine (959) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Bottle from a seasonal 12 pack left at my house during a holiday party. Served tonight in a snifter because that’s what was close. Beautiful reddish amber pour with a short lived khaki head. Fruitcake aroma...and that’s a good thing. Yeasty, doughy, and candied fruit like raisins, currants, and dried cinnamon apples. Taste is like apple pie in a glass. I can taste all of the components from cinnamon apple glaze, crust, and fresh apples. This is a pleasant surprise. What doesn’t surprise me is the lower ratings because of the label. Put a New Glarus sticker on this bottle and watch the ratings soar!

You can really taste the cinnamon, and it gives a lovely after taste. Perfect on a frosty day jasonroden (6) - West Virginia, USA - FEB 13, 2013 does not count
Excellent. Pours nice. Low amount of head. Added an orange in the glass, went well with the floral aroma. tonyth1965 (39) - Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2013
From memory, I am trying to catch up the last couple of months. Bought this in a Holiday Sampler Pack. They went a little overboard with the spices on this one. I like the taste of beer, additives should not be overwhelming for me. VALIS (229) - Nashua, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 27, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2013 12oz. bottle into trappist style glass, which really seemed to bring out the powerful and pleasing scent of cinnamon as soon as it poured. Taste is spicy, again, strong on cinnamon, but not sharp or hot. A good winter-themed beer. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Smells of cinnamon and caramel with some wheat undertones. A well-balanced brew, missing just a little something extra can’t quite put my finger on it though. Decent brew though for a macro and I tip my hat to Coors for this one. Great Thanksgiving/Christmas beer.
