Bottle. Poured clear brown with an average frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet malt and spice aroma. Medium with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice and dark sweet malt flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderated duration. Soft drinkable session seasonal. Dogbrick (12932) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 14, 2011
This beer is a dark ruby-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet spices and caramel malt. Light body with flavors of bready malt, cinnamon, ginger and caramel. The finish is sweet and malty with a mildly sweet spice aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 22, 2014
"the cinnamon is ok, though this beer probably could have done without the wheat. A little on the watery/boring side of things, but not BAD. Dig the spice, but there’s not much else to it."

Draft notes. Hazy brown pour with tan head. Nose was earthy brown malt, spice. Tasted like a brown ale with some cinnamon and a watery finish. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 12, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Clear amber pour with minimal head. Cinnamon and apples all over the nose and taste. Pretty solid!

11/21/11. 12oz bottle from the winter mix 12 pack. Barely hazed amber pour with a small khaki head that cuts, but lasts, and laces just a bit. Sweet, sugary, spiced aroma that reminds of caramel apples or spiced cider. Sweet, spiced (lots of cinnamon) flavor that again reminds a ton of spiced apple cider. This is actually quite pleasant - it reminds of the fall - but I can’t imagine drinking a ton of this stuff. SudsMcDuff (8387) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2011
Had over at the Cooper House .. . Pours a ruby copper .. light foam .. . light cinnamon, light coffee cake, and light spice .. . light mouth .. pretty nice spiced brew but it is awfully simplified .. . . Ohh, why won’t those stupid idiots let me in their crappy club for jerks? PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark amber - slightly sparkling with a very thin off-white head. Aroma is fragrant and fresh and reminds me of walking by a Cinnabon at an airport. Flavor is spicy-sweet with some cinnamon roll sweetness, bready doughiness, some cinnamon flavored powdered doughnuts. Nutty back end. Mouthfeel leans to the thick side. Surprisingly enjoyable. Bottled. Poured clear, medium amber with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up lots of cinnamon and nutmeg over toasted bread and molasses notes.. some orange peel toward the back of the nose.. wintery and welcoming. The flavor found soft bread and caramel at the core, with tangy wheat, orange peel, cinnamon, and nutmeg around.. finished spicy and warm. Medium-bodied with creamy carbonation on the palate.. well-balanced and tasty. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 20, 2012
12 oz bottle left on my balcony for almost a month from a mix pack a friend brought over. Pours a nice decent hazed copper brown hue, a bit darker with reddish glow in the body and edges. A small frothy offwhite head dies to a ring, laces small overall. Aromas are cinnamon and bread, wheat and gentle sweet caramel, biscuits. Almost a cinnamon bread feel, minus any raisin (maybe a faint waft in). The spice isn’t strong, mellow overall. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, offering a medium strength cinnamon spice, sticks on and covers the palate, with some mellow bread, toast, and biscuits. A gentle sweeter kick of caramel, some mellow orange peel, more spice, cinnamon, and light yeastiness. Flaked wheat, probably a touch of fruity ester, but the cinnamon stays the driving force. Picks up just a touch more body as it warms, mellow dryness and lingering spice into the finish with some sticky sweetness. Ok. A one trick pony. It’s certainly drinkable, and has a bit more character than the other beers I’ve had from here. Not bad.
