Clear, dark amber pour with a 1 finger, off white head. Aroma of ground up oranges, dishwater, fruity, bready yeast and vegetal notes. Flavor is floury grain, metalic and mineral notes, greasy high temp fement, a nice, faint sort of floral orange note and more bready and kind of intense vegetal notes to the finish, kind of sulfery like cooked cabbage. Light body, moderate and slightly sharp carbonaiton and dry, but quite oily feel. I didn’t really enjoy this at all. BlackHaddock (7672) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2013
’Valencia Grove Amber’ on my label: drank 5 Feb 2013 in my hotel room in San Francisco. The 12 ounce bottle was chilled with ice in the wash basin and poured twice into a plastic beaker.
I found this OK: good amber hue to the body and an off-white head that didn’t want to hang around for very long.
Flavour wise it had a pleasant orangey feel within what is a malty brew that has very little hop action in the nose or taste.
I prefer maltier, semi-sweet brews and this fitted my profile fairly well. One of the best beers from Coors I’ve had either sdie of the Atlantic. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2013

UPDATED: APR 19, 2013 12 oz bottle. Copper colored and pretty clear with an off-white head. Aroma and flavor is toasted grains, sweet caramel malts, light citrus and light wheat. Light body with a thin watery feel. Pretty bland. tgncc (3145) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAR 10, 2013
The aroma is spicy, orange, orange peel. The appearance is clear orange, white head. The flavor is orange, light pepper, spicy wheat. Medium in body, slightly thick, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is pepper, pine, orange peel. Not bad. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 10, 2013
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body. The aroma was spicy and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of mild citrus mild caramel toffee and sweet. A decent one that I would consider buying again. rougeau13 (3183) - Richmond, Texas, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Clear amber with a soapy off-white head. Aroma of grain and light citrus. Taste is malty and a tad over-sweet. Medium bodied. I’m actually impressed; this is drinkable. Much less cloying and disgusting than a regular blue moon. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Dark gold colour/light amber with a small white head.
aroma is biscuity cardboard and light caramel maltiness with a hint of citrus.
Earthy amber/pale malt body with light orange marmalade tones.
Actually a decent amber, with some dusty maltiness being the main detraction. Not nearly as ’orange peel’ as I was hoping for either.
