Pours an orange-y copper color with a medium head. Thin and not very flavorful - I expected this to have more orange/citrus flavor but it was very bland. Drinkable, though. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Pours amber with a huge off white head. Aroma is citrus. Some metallic notes as well. Flavor is malty and fairly sweet. Slightly bitter. Some faint orange peel on the finish. Decent beer. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a clear amber colored body yielding a decent sized two finger white foamy head that quickly recedes leaving some nice speckled foamy lacing surrounding the sides of the pint glass. Some fast rising carbonation is seen.
The smell had an orange, lemon, caramel and coriander coming through a slightly bland sort of way.
The taste was kinda bland again through light roasty bitterness.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation slightly felt, aftertaste and finish has a bland dry nuttiness.
Overall, I’m not really into this beer, and its just an average beer for its style. There’s too many other good American Reds that I’d probably have over this. However, it looks great in my pint glass. ExpendableHero (925) - Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Copper colored beer with a slightly off-white head. Aromas of oranges and caramel. Tastes of orange peel, some caramel notes, hints of toffee, and some skunky water. Finish is of oranges. Smooth, refreshing, yet bland. A solid session beer. More like a wheat ale than an amber. coyforce (684) - California, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Skunky Aroma with a weak and a bit skunky flavor. Pour is a light amber with no head.

one and about .38 12 oz. bottle(s) poured into a 22 oz. "blue moon" labeled glass that looks much like a lager glass with a marketing silk screened imprint on it.
aromas: sweet malteds with a small tint of brown.
looks: a very comfortable, open toned copper.
taste: very likable; full, smooth, satisfying gulps @ 1st, then slower mouthfuls then sips then gulps again.
overall, a 3.2 since it’s so easy to dance by, too.

12 oz. bottle with a June 2014 date stamped on the neck.
Pours clear amber with a large and creamy tan head that has good durability and leaves fine lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty and musty with hints of orange and yeast..
The flavor is a little subdued but balanced: light bready malts with hints of wheat, orange juice, orange pith and grapefruit.
Light-medium body with good, soft, medium-high carbonation.
O: Refreshing but perhaps best suited for transitional (towards craft beers) beer drinkers. lb4lb (2613) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2014
smell is amber like malt, metal. taste is wheaty, caramel and a bit of alcohol after it warms a touch, unfortunately. started better ice cold. decent and drinkable but booze showed up late sadly. bubblehouse (1543) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 18, 2014
Descent aroma but really lacking in the taste department. Not a big fan of blue moon but the wife loves it so what ya going to do? Nicksbeers (26) - - MAR 11, 2014
Good crisp beer, not bad for the price. Good for starters to the craft beer world.
