Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance –A light copper mixed with amber color. It formed a huge white head upon pouring which lasted with some persistence, leaving a little bit of lacing.
Smell – Mainly malty in nature with some nice biscuit and caramel aromas. While those are the heavier aromas, there is a little bit of orange citrus aroma in it the smell as well that is more prevalent toward the end of the smell.
Taste – Sweet malt is present up front. It consists of a mix of breadiness and some orange as well. The citrus and a bit of more bitter lemon seem to come into play more toward the end of the flavor profile. These citrus and lemon taste lessen the presence of the maltiness originally present, but leave a very nice taste in the mouth.
Mouthfeel –A medium bodied brew with a lighter level of carbonation. Very normal, but not bad.
Overall – This brew has a nice citrus and malt flavor, but lacks some complexity. It is very easy to drink and definitely not a bad brew. Well worth a try and one I hope Blue Moon keeps in the rotation. 1guywith_aboat (254) - phenix city, Alabama, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Pours amber. Aroma is malt, Caramel, honey. Flavor is sweet with a lightly spiced hop flavor. Not bad but needs more rich, hearty malt flavor in my opinion. Bricks (1148) - Delaware, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Fizzy, honey medium brown appearance. Slight floral, malty aroma. Taste is a touch of citrus, touch of wheat, but mostly floral malt. AndyW68 (1593) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 28, 2014
I was surprised by this. Copper pour with white head. Aroma musty malt. Taste sour and sweet. Orange is there but minimal. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 19, 2014
The appearance has a clear light copper color and a large slightly off-white head that fades fairly quickly, and the aroma bread yeast, doughy malts, and a hint of caramel maltiness. The taste mildly sour, slightly sweet, and a touch umami, and the palate fuses an average carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and a slightly sour finish.

Bottle. Pours to a deep amber body with a white head. The aroma has a dash of orange peel with a lot of amber malts. The flavor is very malty. A definite amber. The orange is subtle. I like this as an amber. But I don’t feel it needs to be advertised as orange included. Medium light body. pumpmaster (1430) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - APR 11, 2014
Sample from 12 ounce bottle at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL Better than the regular Blue Moon. TYearby (7) - New Prague, Minnesota, USA - APR 10, 2014 does not count
Very mild orange smell with even less on the taste. Not a bad beer, but didn’t leave much to desire on the palate. Finhead (1801) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - APR 7, 2014
Clear, copper-amber with a minimal, white head. The aroma has oranges and bread with a touch of caramel. It has a light, watery body with average carbonation. The taste is sweet and slightly warming GL2814 (361) - New York, New York, USA - APR 6, 2014
Not my favorite blue moon. The citrus is subtle, more in nose then in taste.
