12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin head that fades quickly. Aroma of toffee and grainy notes. The taste is toffee, sugary notes and some faint spice. Not too bad. crossovert (13457) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2011
I got this in a mixed sampler pack of winter brews form world market. It smelled like farts and it just tasted like bowels. When I went online and found it was listed as a Dubbel I was shocked, this is not a Belgian styled dubbel. This beer is awful, do not buy it.
