Bottle. Trappist Glass. Served chilled. Deep Copper Color. Weak light brown head. No lacing in the glass. Aroma of spice, caramel, alcohol, coffee. Medium body. Taste was toasty, caramel, herb, and spice. Bitter, but a touch of sweetness. Smooth. Clean finish. I enjoyed it, but its not what I am looking for in a Belgian Ale. This beer fills me up. I find the sugar note pleasant. It is easy-drinking if not very remarkable. I don’t ever pair this with food. I buy a case when it comes out yearly. geeklimit (292) - USA - DEC 13, 2010
spicy hoppy smell. Nice head that dissipates fairly quickly. dark brown appearance with hardly any carbonation. light body, much lighter than you’d expect for a beer this dark and a bit of a sticky stale aftertaste. Pretty boring overall, I’d choose it on $0.50-bottle night. cryptobard (281) - DENMARK - JUL 29, 2011
Honestly the differences between this one and the other Blue Moons are pretty minute. Once again, smooth drink with a flavor that’s almost a tease; there should be something more behind it but there isn’t. Almost like it’s incomplete. Stampion (274) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Nice color, malty and sweet. Aftertaste lingers unwelcomely. Sort of disappointed that there are two more in the pack.

This beer pours a dark amber liquid with a small head. the smell is dried fruits and brown sugar. The tast is malty, with some carmel and fruit in a medium-light body. The finish is a bit of sweetness swirled into toasty coffee and malt. Not long in the aftertaste but a very pleasant beer. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2015
This beer is not that good. But it isn’t that bad either! Don’t bother drinking it though. Unless you want to drink an okay "winter" beer made by a company that also makes really shitty beer! TomTiedemann (250) - Levittown, New York, USA - DEC 14, 2010
This was a nice winter touch, but too many micro and crafts to worry about now. Hollywoodt (240) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle. Poured a medium amber color with no real head to speak of. Aroma was spice and a little malt. The flavor followed along. Nothing to get excited about....I can say I’ve tried it. beaz1591 (238) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Goblet. Dark amber with a fizzy soda pop head. Odor is mainly alcohol with maybe a hint of malts. Bland taste, not at all what I was expecting for a Blue Moon.
