On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. Pretty cloudy medium orange pour, medium head. Nose is initially a bit malty like an amber, then some tea-like hops and mild oxidation. Mouthfeel is substantial, lightly prickly in places. Pretty boring brew, not bracing and dry enough to satisfying my lager jones. Would be curious to try fresher (presumably). drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Sampled during CBC 2013. Dark golden pour with a small off-white head. Light aroma, pale malts, lightly bready, a hint of spice and earthiness. Light flavor, bready pale malts, a touch of spice. Goes down easy. Not bad at all for what it is. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 4, 2013
(US backlog 2012) 8x draught sample flight at VA brewpub 14/ix/12. Mild malty lager, refreshing enough in the late VA summer sun, but mostly muddled (underbrewed, fast-tracked vs. "6 glorious weeks", maybe this is an Old European reservation of mine?), forgettable and slightly meh. coyforce (684) - California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Zero aroma in this brew, and a halfway sucky pour. Amber with no head. Taste is mildly sweet, but aftertaste is skunky (albeit short). Emeister84 (2505) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Aromas of biscuit and floral hops. Clear gold with a mostly diminishing, white head. Dry and lightly bitter. Light body, medium carbonation, and a clean finish.

Draft at the brewpub on 1/19/2013. Poured a golden color with a small, vibrant white head. Aroma was some light lager malts, some mild earthy notes. Flavor was crisp, lager notes, some grain in there too. Pretty refreshing. ben4321 (6504) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 21, 2012

Aroma: This one has a nose of clean malts, light citrus, and a little grass
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color with a white head and light lace
Flavor: It has a clean malt flavor, some citrus, a little bit sweet, with a light bitterness
Palate: This one has a crisp and clean feel, a light body, and a smooth, clean finish
This is a pretty good lager with a nice flavor, and one of the best examples of this style that I have tried.
Clear gold with a tall white head.
Light malt aroma.
The flavor is lightly sweet, not much else.
Easy drinking lawnmower beer. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Strong caramel and hop profile, almost like a bitter ale. Amber color implies the same. A very malty lager overall, with some bitterness to balance. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle. Pours orangish with a small off-white head. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of citrus hops and oxidized metal. Moderately sweet malt flavor with a touch of citrus/straw hop bitterness. Fairly thin and bland overall with a slightly metallic finish.
