One of my all time favorites. Had it on tap at the brewery, instant knock in the face of chocolate, bourbon, and cream. Nitro made the head very creamy and wonderful. Quite the experience. JonR (40) - - JAN 19, 2013
This is an absolutely delicious beer. The nose is whiskey and oak barrels. Beatiful colring to it. The taste is malty ver caramely with a taste of vanilla splendid beer. Cybercat (5840) - Georgia, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Pours a coffee brown with a thick tan head. Roast malt and coffee aroma has an overtone of bourbon-soaked wood. I’m going Pavlov! Flavor starts with dark alt and adds on roast coffee, bourbon, oak, horehound, molasses and caramel tones for a WOW! beer. Smooth and fizzy texture leaves a mouthgasm-inducing finish of bourbon-infused oak, roast malt and molasses. Come to the Dark Hollow side - we have great beer! A dark and tasty treat! After a few twist of the cork, was pleasantly surprised with a dark rich black pour. Taste of oak and roasted malt and pleasant bite of whiskey notes. Hints of coffee and cocoa on the finish. Smooth overall experience. A new favorite!

Pours pitch black with a small brown head fading to tan. Smells of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, and roast. Taste is dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, and bourbon. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Blue Mountain Dark Hollow finishes with a lot of vanilla oakiness.

Bottle from Dkachur. Finally I get to try one of my personal white whales. Dark brown pour. Big tan head. Tons of bourbon up front. I mean LOADS of delicous bourbon! Oak, vanilla, and some great roast. Flavor is heavy on the bourbon wtih tons of vanilla, oak, toffee and roast. A really nice beer. Finishes a bit hot, but in a good way for the most part. I hope I get another bottle at some point. Very very good. wnewberr (100) - Huntersville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Strong bourbon aroma which I love. I think it is lacking in body a little and the bourbon flavor hides the maltiness. Pours with a short-lived but beautiful head. anthony850 (472) - Andover, New Jersey, USA - DEC 4, 2013

Thanks to tderoeck? 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. Black, solid mocha head. Nose is lightly fizzy, touch soy sauce, roast with quite a bit of the bourbon barrel. Taste is syrupy, quite a bit of roast, roasted coffee, molasses, syrup, chocolate, toffee, oak, vanilla, big bourbon,… Roasted thick coffee body & barrel. Quite pleasant. jimbowood (1036) - Freeport, Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2008
batch #2, bottle. Full mouthfeel. Light body but coats the tongue like oil. Very smooth and very complex without being overwhelming. Excellent.
