Draft at blind tiger with Linh and Caroline. Pours a deep hazy brown body with no head and very light lacing. Aroma is cocoa, lots of caramel, light vanilla, oak and sweet malts. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet chocolate malt, spice, caramel, wood and vanilla. Ok, but I would neve pin this as a Belgian ale. radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Draft at the brewpub on 1/19/2013. Poured a hazy color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some spice notes, with some dark fruits, caramel. Flavor was some funky notes, with caramel, dark fruits, touch of bitterness to it. Pretty enjoyable. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear dark rust color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal notes, dark brown sugar, soy. The taste is earth, treacle, plum, soy, bread, spice, dark fruits and herbs. Medium bodied. Nice, but not to my liking. TheBeerGod (6284) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - DEC 29, 2012
