Draft at Beer and Bacon. Pours almost clear with bubbly off white head. Tastes like dry hops, astringent citrus, very light sweetness. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musky grains with light citrus. cheap (6202) - CHINA - MAY 12, 2014
From a can this stuff looks viscous because of the head. Yes, nice fine foamy head goes rocky. Smells bready hop flowers. Quite strong, must be near 7%. Borders on the bitterness of an IPA, wew. So, if you like IPA ignore my numbers and try this one big dull kick in the jaw. Finish is long bitter medicine. Jimmysan (1) - Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2014 does not count
From a can at the Thorton River Grille, Sperryville, VA. Dark gold body with clean white head with staying power. Malt with slight sharp fruity tones. Bitter after test that was initially surprising but balances the initial malt favor well. Mep3222 (1708) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - APR 9, 2014
Aroma of malty caramel. Taste is mostly malty caramel as well some bitter finishing hops to balance but mostly malt. Not sweet though. Well balanced.

Cask at Max’s. Pours hazy golden amber with a giant pillow of frothy white head. Aroma is biscuit and cereal malts, floral hops, light citrus fruit, light spice, and faint grassiness. Flavor is well balanced with light bready malt base that blends into a mellow grassy hop and grapefruit bitterness; creamy with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Malty and caramely aroma. Smooth, syrupy body. Pretty easy. I always really enjoyed this beer. ovenproofpluto (16) - - MAR 21, 2014

Aroma of citrus and fruit, amber colour with a short head. A well balanced taste mildly bitter and a mix of dried fruit and citrus. A mildly bitter palate. zaxtreme (16) - - MAR 19, 2014
For a pale ale this packs a pretty heavy nose full of hop aroma. Beautiful amber color. Taste is solid cascade IPA fare. Honestly this tastes like what a standard cascade brewed IPA should taste like. Which is good, if a little boring.
