3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden straw with a rising head. Aromas of grapefruit, cherry, bourbon barrel and mown hay. Surprisingly juicy on first taste, with the nine percent giving an extra kick here. A bit weak and watery on the palate after that, however, with an estery alcohol finish. Dominant notes of cherry, Ricola, pine resin and cedar.
Bottle shared by a friend. Clear orange to copper in color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of malt, banana esters and citrus. Malty and caramelly flavor with a grassy hop finish. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - FEB 13, 2016
This beer is an anomoly. It pors a turbid amber with aromas of belgian yeast and a bit of funk. At times it is cloyingly sweet, but at other times it is perfectly in balance. At other times there is a hint of balanced funk. I really don’t know what to make of it. weihenweizen (3831) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - FEB 11, 2016
Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a snifter. Clear light orange with small white head. Aroma is yeasty, medium body, low carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is citrus and some yeast. stepthom (8) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - FEB 5, 2016 does not count
Copper with a decent head. Starts bitter with some hops. Finishes sweet with orange and spice notes. Good but nothing special N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - SEP 12, 2015
Drank out of a fancy glass poured from a large bottle, thank you Björn! Pours a light copper color with a bit of nice head. Smells sweet, tastes sweet. An alright brew.

Bottle...Orangey pour with a short lived head and bready nose. The flavor is heavily toffee/raisin with a bit of barnyard funk and candi sugar. Pretty good, but would have liked a little more hop assertiveness as well as bitterness to balance the sweetness. climberbob (458) - Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2015
Bottle. Pale amber low carbonation. Sweet raisin aroma. First taste comes over sweet. Mellows to some funkiness in the middle with mild bitterness but finishes sweet and slick. Taste of honey toffee and vanilla. Not much of a hop profile. Ok but a bit sweet.

Poured a reddish amber color. A bit hazy with a small white head. Aroma has a sweet and slightly syrupy note. Some Belgian yeast in the aroma with some resin too. Taste is toasted with nice malty flavors. Fruity notes too with some tart hints. A tad undercarbonated. Overall it’s not bad, good malty flavors, but the balance is a little strange. c_lee_burton (193) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2015
750 ml bottle. Pours a golden amber with a quick dissipating frothy white head. Smells bready and like sweet caramel. You get some bread, hops, and caramel right off. The hops linger and the malt balances it well. It’s full bodied and creamy on the palate. alobar (3794) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2014
Pours an orange brown color with no head. Aroma of citrus and spice with a flavor of orange, spice, and bread. Nice beer.
