Served on draft at Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA on 7/5/11. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus, bready notes and caramel. The taste is very flavorful... orange, pear, stone fruits, bread, caramel, spices and faint hops. Full bodied. Some warming alcohol. Very nice. Poured from big bottle purchased at brewpub . Great aroma of brown sugar, ripe apples, banana, cream. Amber, foamy white head. Flavors of caramel, brown sugar, various spices, nut. Earthy aftertaste. This was given to me by a friend who had purchased a growler at the Beer Run in Charlottesville. Nice aroma, small head and poured a cloudy gold color. Ther is much to like. The higher alcohol is well disguised. Sweet to taste like the fruit apples or appricots. This was a limited production. Blue Mountain was sold out and Beer Run had the last for this production.
