Can. Pours a clear amber body with a one finger fizzy off-white head. The nose is slightly grainy and earthy malt with a minimal hint of leafy hops. The flavor is pretty decent, just slightly husky with a slight sweetness and a toasty malt base. A little light on the hops for the style, but itís pretty drinkable. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering slightly clingy finish. Meh, not the greatest, but Iíve had a lot worse for the style. weihenweizen (3741) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - MAY 12, 2016
Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Clear Amber with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt. OnTheTrail (491) - Virginia, USA - APR 5, 2016
Pours clear coppery brown, medium tan head. Aroma is caramel, bready, hint of hops. Taste is nice biscuity malt, caramel, almost honey. Pleasant mouthfeel. A little more (dark) fruity but also more sour, as it warms. hopscotch (11044) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2015
Can... Pours clear and burnt-orange with a small, wispy, cream-colored head. The aroma is toasty, malty and fruity Ė caramel and black cherries with a splash of sweet, fruity, crusted port. Full-bodied with tickling carbonation. Tastes a lot like a Scotch ale Ė lightly roasty and vinous with nuances of caramel and English biscuit. Extraordinarily well-balanced. Finishes nourishing and lightly bitter some minerals. Iíll go against the grain here. Love this crushable brew. Can from Chevy Chase supermarket. Dark brown, roasty body with low head. Nose is sweet, malty, roast of brown sugar. Taste is similar of malts, caramel, brown sugar, and toffee. Sugary finish. Okay.

can. hazy red with a small beige head. i didnít want to rate this because its completely oxidized and probably just been on the shelf too long, however, several other rated experienced the same so here we go... caramel nose, no hops left. flavor is one dimensional butter caramel notes with maybe a faint hint of citrusy american hops that once were. QC this product and move it faster. i will re-rate if i ever come across it again. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 25, 2015
Can. A more or less clear one, dark amber in color and with a small, beige head. The aroma is rather sourish caramel malty, with dried fruits and some rye bready hints. Quite malty, almost wort like flavor too, with raisins, some plums, bread and caramel. Itís smooth on the palate, medium bodied and semi-sweet. Lasting finish. Not my favorite in any way. Not that itís really bad in any way, I just donít like the way itís brewed. Sort of like a session-quad, which doesnít work out very nice. 150625 Meilby (11366) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 25, 2015

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2014 On tap at the brewery. I really wanted to like this more, I am a sucker for British ales. The nose was malty and toffee, with some hops balancing but definitely in the background. Not to style due to high alcohol, but not a bad beer.
