Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, bread, straw and hops. Hides alcohol well. teddybeer (3783) - Madrid, SPAIN - FEB 7, 2014
From my backlog. Golden colour with a frothy white head with good duration and nice lacework. Aroma is malty with fruity notes and some citrus hints. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, good maltiness, fruity and floral traces are also present. The final is slightly bittery with some creamy notes. italarican (1550) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Bottle shared at the Foothills Sexual Chocolate pre-release party. Way too malty and sweet for a pils. Odd cereal presence too. johndoughty (5452) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2013
Bottle. My first from this brewery and it made a big impression.Golden and clear with a small head. Unusual, creamy and slightly fruity taste. I still struggle with the idea of an imperial pils but if there are any more like this then bring them on. Excellent.

from Erzbierschof - clear bright golden beer with a long lasting white foam; light notes of cork, chewy fruityness (apples, pears and hints of banana); full-bodied and with some sweetness, subtle carbonation and decent bitterness; light notes of alcohol in the finish; residual sugars and more fruity hops ben4321 (6510) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 9, 2013

Aroma: The nose has some earthy hops, grass, spice, grains, some citrus, and floral notes
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a decent sized head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is well-balanced, malty, grassy, earthy, and grainy, with some fruity notes
Palate: The body is medium, it has a crisp feel, average carbonation, and a dry finish
I thought this one was really quite enjoyable. I’ve been pretty impressed with Blue Mountain lately. Between the likes of Hardywood, Blue Mountain, Devil’s Backbone, and the classic Legend (among others), my home state is turning into quite the beer state. Virginia represent!
7/28/2012. From bottle. Hops, malt, apples, grain and yeast aromas. Golden yellow with a white head. Less alcohol burn than most. Pretty good. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - SEP 2, 2013
On tap at Whole Foods in Market Square in Fairfax, VA.
Clear, golden straw-yellow with a fine off-white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of mild grain and little else.
Taste of sweet grainy malt, alcohol, grass, pepper, spicy earthy hops and lemon.
Medium body and medium/high carbonation.

On draft a few times at different places. Pours gold, slight white head. Overall too sweet and boozy for such a delicate style. Cereal, sugar, light floral hoppiness.
