Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 25/09/2009
Floral hop aroma. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with some citrus flavour. Crisp and slightly dry malt finish. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - SEP 14, 2012
On tap at RFD. Soft orange pour with a white head. Lots of lacing in the glass. Aroma is buttery, hoppy, a bit grassy and a bit sharp. Flavor has some mild hop bitterness with a bit of that buttery kick again. Good beer but needs a but more hop assertiveness to balance out the malt bill. kassner (1692) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Very nice on tap, a bit course with full mouth, nice head over light copper color, had a lot of delicate fruits with plenty of malt as well. Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2013
Draught at the Gingerman at the Blue Mountain Event NYC sept 2012. Clear pale golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy, a bit sweet and fruity flavour. r464 (2372) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Golden amber in color with a foamy whitish head. Balanced, smooth, malty at first. Light hops and spice, full and well rounded. Could use a bit more crispness in the finish, but overall quite good.

750ml from Sam’s, Durham. Cases of this stuff sitting around for $4 a bottle, so I’ve grabbed a couple. Pretty solid stuff overall. Ripe and raucous pale gold pour, with a bracing nose of noble hops, pale malts, and a bit of spicy yeast. It’s that latter element that comes across strongly as you drink the beer, melding nicely with the abundant and quite dry hops. Not a world beater by any means, but it’s pretty much how I like this style done, so they get points for that. Beergeek23322 (2643) - Chester, Virginia, USA - OCT 3, 2013
7/28/2012. From bottle. Hops, malt, apples, grain and yeast aromas. Golden yellow with a white head. Less alcohol burn than most. Pretty good. weihenweizen (4129) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JAN 14, 2016
Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a glass. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Aroma is yeasty, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is orange and yeasty. Jow (4092) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Bottle at home grabbing the imp pils ticks cannibalizes by ipl. Darker colored gold. Nose is yeasty and fruity. Tastes of bready, apple, pear, pale malt, some straw. Seminsweet. Tinge of alcohol. TheBeerGod (6261) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Bottle - 750mL corked and caged.Hazed gold with a tall, dense white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with flora and grassy hops, fruit notes and soft funky yeast. Doesn’t really smell like a pilsener or an imperial pilsener. Kind of smells like a Belgian beer or at least uses a funky Belgian yeast. Taste is sweet malt, toasted grains, soft honey, dusty yeast notes, grassy hops, light floral notes and fruit notes. Body is medium with a strong, dense carbonation. Finishes with more sweet malt notes, fresh fruit, floral hops, grassy notes, light biscuit malt and dusty yeast. I’ll rate the beer as it is irrespective of style.
