In Japan a round of golf cost $12,000. You play from rooftop to rooftop, the balls are made of rice and when you’re done you sleep in a tube. DiarmaidBHK (6137) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Bottle from wish you were beer. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Has a bit of bourbon on the nose but it’s more faint than I expected. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Tastes a bit like bourbon and dirt on the tongue. It does hide the alcohol fairly well. Not feeling this one. bleeng (1705) - Houston not near Beersel., Texas, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Bomber thanks to me. Pours black with little head. Musty boozy nose. Flavors of bitter cacao bourbon barrel and a bit of sweetness. Decent but a bit amateuress. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 9, 2014
Bottled. Pours a dense black with a small quickly disappearing head. One note aroma, all bourbon, but hey I like bourbon! Flavor is about as subtle as a hammer, with bourbon taking over pretty much everything else. A little thin bodied for the style. Still, I enjoyed this sipper. 22 oz. bottle shared at First Sunday. Black pour, with a small, tan head. The aroma is new oak, syrup, caramel, and coffee. Negligible bourbon notes. Sweet and malty, with a dry finish. Medium body, smooth, and clean. Overall, this is a weak stout base, with very little added from the bourbon barrel treatment.
