Have you ever licked a fire? Well Blue Pants has, because, they created a beer. Smokey, sweet, smells like someone dumped water on a campfire.

decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JAN 22, 2016
Opaque black/brown pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is huge chocolate with some roastiness going on. Super sweet chocolate flavor, some roasty, with a light/medium bitter finish. A sweet beer from start to finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation. a beer that could carry 3% more abv without blinking an eye

3.6
ineedbeer (2269) - Oakland, California, USA - JAN 18, 2016
Poured from a 12 oz bottle dated 11/15/2015. Aroma has moderately strong malt notes. Some nuttiness, dark caramel and toffee notes. Medium chocolate notes with some light roast character. Hints of raisin with some light oatmeal notes. Pours a murky, somewhat muddy, dark brown with medium high, moderately thick, dark tan head that quickly and steadily recedes. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some light oatmeal notes. Some nuts, caramel, toffee and coffee roast notes. Medium light chocolate notes. Finish has oatmeal and chocolate that works well. Medium light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer, but it’s probably a bit light for a porter. Nice malt notes and the oatmeal works really well.
