2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
650 ml. Nice looking with a lightly hazy body and a lasting inch of creamy head. Aroma is spicy honey, white wine and citrus. Initial taste is lightly toasted bread, spicy toffee, peppery citrus, earthy honey and white wine. Pretty tasty until the enduring finish overtakes every sip with overbearing tones of rusty booze, pith and overripe apple. Medium body is smoothly carbonated, slightly slick and fairly dry. This might just need a little more bottle conditioning to take the sharp edges off.
Pours a hazy amber to yellow. Large rocky white head. Aroma is oranges and citrus. Very bitter. Too much so. Out of balance. Drinkable but not great. ClassyBeagle (376) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber into a Spiegelau tulip.
A: Sweet fruits (oranges, tangerines, etc.), hay, caramel, and candy sugar.
A: Pours dark gold with a very thin, bubbly head that quickly dissipates into minimal lacing.
T: Overwhelmingly sweet with the fruitiness and the hops show up late to leave a dry, bitter finish. The malts save give just enough flavor to keep the sweet Belgian yeasts from being overwhelming and cloying.
P: Medium body, syrupy, and almost flat carbonation.
O: This beer lacks depth and complexity. The sweet malts are a high point, but I fear the yeast doesn’t live up to them. SSSteve (4006) - - OCT 4, 2013
bottle. hazy gold pour with a huge, rocky, white head. earthy, herbal, hint of mint, grassy aroma. lots of carbonation. flavor is quite bitter and backed with a cereal grain and butter. i don’t get the usual belgian tripel yeast notes. Its more like a belgian golden strong or belgian style ipa than a tripel to me. reminds me of like urthels hop it or de ranke xx bitter or something. grassy, dry finish. this is really well done, although i’m not feeling tripel. hazy gold, puffy white head, lightly oily. Lightly sweet nose surprisingly dry, light grass and peachy dough. Flavor is sweeter, more estery with higher carbonation, still light hop but drowned out mid before the sticky, plastic, oppressive finish. Braudog (6804) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Bottle. Hazy yellow, with a decent pile of white foam atop. The aroma is faint, but yeasty. This drinks with a subtle hint of Belgian fruitiness, as well as a subtle tease of American hops. Although not as assertive of other, better examples of this blended style, this ain’t bad at all, and I’d drink more of it. (#5078, 6/25/2013)

22 oz bottle courtesy of Suttree, shared at the beastiefan2k going away tasting. The pour is clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is overly sweet floral malt, along with caramel, fruit, and an herbal bitter hoppiness. The taste expresses the sweet caramel floral malt more as honey, though it is still sticky sweet. The herbal hops are muddled in there as well, very a part from the sweetness. The taste didn’t really work for me, though I certainly see what they were going for. The palate is medium bodied, lingering sweet finish, and well masked alcohol. Thanks Phil. Itzjerm (3074) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - JUN 12, 2013
How do you take a quality beer and destroy it take two styles that don't mix. A bad bitter hoppy beer with no aroma and a triple. The malty grain comes through in aroma. Overall taste like most beer by blue. Skip it. However it looks spectacular amazing lasting head and clear golden appearance. How bout just a triple?

Gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma is brown sugar and musty hay. Sweet and a flat sour at the same time. Spicy finish with a light bitter. Medium/full bodied and fizzy. BeerHawk (1810) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Bottle. Poured a hazy pale with a huge frothy white head that that left plenty lasting. Aromas of honey, floral hop, spice, and light yeast. The flavor found floral hops and spice. Medium body with a spicy hop aftertaste. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 11, 2013
651mL thanks to beerandblues2. Pours a clear golden, massive, rocky white foam with very nice lacing. Nose is sticky candies, stale grain, artificial banana. Taste is tangy, acidic, harsh paper. Palate is dry, papery, harsh acid.
