COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our inaugurational beer. It’s a moderately hoppy, but balanced, aggressive American Red Ale with a good Cascade taste and a strong malty backbone. The good head retention and foam lets you know that this beer has a lot of body, which complements the rich hop aroma and taste.

Nicely nutty red ale with slightly aggressive hopping. Better the more I drink it.

WVHouseofBeer (1106) - West Virginia, USA - APR 2, 2014
Pours a deep amber color with a frothy white head. Nose consisting purely of caramel malt. In the flavor there is not enough balance. Too much malt and too little hops. It ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Medium bodied. This is a big beer and I appreciate it but it really wasn’t very good, maybe dial back the malt a little?

3.7
Malaclemys (464) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Taproom, pours reddish brown with white head. Aroma of resin, citrus, caramel, nut. Taset is resin citrus, nut, and caramel. Light body with a sweet finish that fades to bitter. Very good.

Bottle from blazer06, I think. Pours a caramel brown with a soapy off-white head. Nose is caramel and some piney hops with hints of booze and soap. Flavor is similar- caramel and light piney grassy hops with hints of booze. Light in body and a bit off-balance.
