Plastic jug shared by brew3crew. Poured black color with an average fizzy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium roasted coffee and chocolate malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted coffee and chocolate flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good and my expectations where met.

Bomber courtesy of Suttree. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a faint attempt at a head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, slight ash and mild roast. The taste is chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, a mild bitter roast finish. Thin-medium bodied. The taste is very reminiscent of bitter chocolate and it’s growing on me as I drink it. Flavor is heavy malt (bread, cookie, chocolate, caramel, nutty), light hops (earthy), and average esters (fruity) with notes of dates and brown sugar. Very dark brown color, brown head. Extremely roasty, bitter espresso, Mexican vanilla, charred wood, tar. A tad too roasty. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - JAN 28, 2015
1/28/15. 12oz bottle from Smokin Joes (or something like that) in Jacksonville, AL. Black pour with a small tan head, mild lacing. Strong coffee aroma, bordering towards veggie, rich sweetness, ashy, dark roasted malts. Rich flavor, lots of coffee, roasted malts, some chocolate, a touch of acidity. Not bad.

Bomber. Poured deeper brown with a slightly fizzy toasted beige head. The aroma picked up toasty coffee and chocolate with accents of funky sourness and vanilla.. I liked the coffee character, but the brew seemed off. The flavor found tangy coffee and sour husk-like notes on the tip of the tongue, with dry, roasty coffee, toast, and a bit of trailing vanilla behind.. dry, sour, and funky along with burnt coffee on the finish. Medium-bodied and very dry on the palate.. not so sure the funk and sourness was supposed to be there. Strykzone (7489) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Sampled at esbls. This is kind of ashy smokey. Some fruit and bitterness. Those two do not go together here. Not quite there. But not far from it. Suttree (6466) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Black, decent sized brown head. Smells like coffee and coco-puffs. Taste is coffee forward, but not as coffee forward as I was thinking it would be. Seems a bit on the thin side, too. decaturstevo (6339) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAY 5, 2013
