From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 01/20/16. Good looking amber-orange colored pour with a lasting but small white head. Busy carbonation. This is over 6 months old so many of the hops I expected may have faded but so did the 10% booze. I got some spicy characters, fruity and orange characters, and bready malts. Medium or better body. The taste is still very bitter after all this time with a lingering and somewhat dry finish. No booze in the flavor either. I’d like to try a fresher one some time to see if my opinion changes.

Poured from bottle.
Aroma of malt and hops.
Appearance is solid gold with lacing.
Tasting a mix of piney, citrus and grassy hops with dry malt, caramel, pepper, yeast.
Palate is slightly dry with a good malt base.
Overall, another terrific American made IPA.

With Z , a bomber, pours a deep rusty orange pour with a small beige head.
Nose is a deep hard pine and resin . Taste is softer pine and resin, and bittersweet light citrus. Finishes on the same tasting notes with a long dry finish . Quaff Score 7 / 10

Bomber. Pours a hazy copper orange with a beige head and aroma of hops and pine. Taste is bitter, strong hops, pine, resin, and caramel leading to a dry, bitter finish.

Deeper orange with just a thin layer of foam. This has a good malt base and plenty of bitterness. Floral and herb hop aroma but little in hop flavor.

APPEARANCE ? dark copper color fills the bulb and luscious foamy white beauty fills the top of this tulip glass.
NOSE ? great scents of fruit with an resin hop scent that?s almost hidden.
FLAVOR ? strong notes of resniy bitter hops start the DIPA off right. It mellows slightly through the sip, but not by too much.

Medium amber, clear. Full body, unctous texture, moderate flavor, high but not excessive heat, beautifully balanced mouthfeel, avg but tasty finish. Bittersweet, good acidity. Yeasty, hoppy, malty. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Top Hops - NYC. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Good stuff, pretty sweet and oily. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Heavy on the finish with rich tropical fruits, oily hops. OK.

Au nez, on croirait avoir devant nous un barleywine américain. Fort goût de caramel, canne à sucre et un soupçon de houblon. Très résineuse et plutôt intense pour une DIPA
