Overpowering hop aroma, dirty yellow pour, strong taste with a small but warming finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler from Ale Yeah! Hazy orange pour, with a big, off-white head. Aroma of butterscotch, pine, resinous notes, and honey. Musty sweetness, and a very aggressive bitterness. Heavy body, very astringent, and sticky. Overall, this is a very hoppy, creamy, and heavy DIPA. Very nice.

Disappointing. I am a Blue Point fan and a Long Island local. Weird. This double IPA pours a dark amber with a tall white head. The aroma is disgusting. It almost smells like a bad batch contaminated with brett. The flavor is over malted and brown sugar. If you want to try something better from BP, I highly recommend their Hoptical Illusion. Pass this one by. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Burnt orange color with sticky head as well as mouth feel. Big choppy aroma and finish. Nice alcohol warmth and sweet malt backbone.

Draft at Sybarite Pig. Tulip. Orange deep amber pour with thick, foamy white head. Solid lacing. Apricot, plums, and spices on the nose. Taste of sweet ripened fruits, pine, resin, malts, cinnamon, coriander and plums. Very bitter finish from the hops. Very complex but not well balanced. Seems rather segmented.

Deep gold pour with orange tinges. White head. Flavors of tropical fruit, mandarin oranges, sweet malty backbone. Pretty damn good stuff.

Associated Supermarket, Bushwicck growler: Pours an amber color with a whitish head. Aroma is citrus, flower, berry, and caramel malts. Taste is somewhat sweet. Alcohol is well covered. Some complexity and intermingling amongst the hop varietals. Not bad. Pretty easy to drink for a DIPA.

Heavy IPA. More of a bold IPA than a grapefruit fresh beer. A little huskies than I hoped.

Bomber from Total Wine in Jensen Beach. Pours an orangey-copper with an orange-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma has heavy pine and citrus with a solid resinous presence ... and caramel. Taste is of sweet caramel with a strong piney/citrusy hop presence. Quite sweet with a bunch of bitter. Very rough and sticky. Some alcohol noted. Shrug? It was 8 months old, perhaps it would have been more smoothed out and balanced new? The components are there, but needed to be blended better.
