Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Malty, fruity, bready aroma, sicy, biscuits, apples and pears, hop notes, some grass. Malty caramel flavor, banana, pear, hay, some pepper. Bitter finish, spicy and with some citrus. Thin bodied and a bit boring.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a one-finger head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is slightly nutty and grainy lighty toasty caramel with a faint stone fruit note. Taste is toasted malts, caramel, plum and other stone fruits and a faint nutty note. Finish of faint, muted hops. Medium bodied.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with a medium, creamy off-white head, long retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and nutty malt, dates, and light spicy hops. Flavor is melanoidin malt dominant, light hops and bitterness, a clean lager character and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at DRE. Pours dark straw with off-white head. Nose is malt, midl brown sugar and hops. Tastes of malt, brown sugar, hops, a bit watery, with a smooth but not terribly complex finish, and some diacetyl noted also.
