According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, its gone after Thanksgiving.

A hazed dark copper amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with loads of pumpkin pie spices, cloves, ginger and cardamom. In mouth, nutty caramel malt with herbal notes and subdued notes of maple, cloves and ginger, light mineral notes. OK.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear amber color with a decent off white head. The nose has a little sweet malt, pumpkin, light spices. The flavor leans towards the bready side, more like pumpkin bread than pumpkin pie. Medium body with an off dry finish. Decent.

On tap @ Firewaters (Atlantic City). Labeled as Mother Pumpkin. Pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of creamy white head. Aroma of sweet pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and grain. Taste is much the same. Typical pumpkin beer, but pretty good.

Draught at Rattle & Hum NYC sept 2012. Clear amber beer with a offwhite head. Sweet, pumpkingspices, fruity and a bit citrus aroma and flavour. A bit too much gingerflavour otherwise a nice one :-)

12oz bottle: This one pours a crystal clear amber color. There was a bit of an off-white head that didnt linger too long or leave much lacing. Nose is OK: just a bit of pumpkin pie spices, malts in the background. Taste is a little thin. Some malts, some spices, but not too much of either. Pretty nondescript. OK, but not one of their better offerings. There are much better pumpkin beers out there.

12oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours copper with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, caramel and pale malts, and floral hops. The flavor has a good blend of everything, but could have more. Average texture. Not a bad pumpkin beer.
