According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, it’s gone after Thanksgiving.

12oz bottle. Pours a rich amber-orange color with a small head and some light lacing. The pumpkin spices dominate the aroma, with just a bit of pumpkin and some malt mixed in. Taste is initially very sweet, which is then followed by the pumpkin spices and the pumpkin flavors. The hops and the malt flavors add in to the mix to give the taste some depth. Little carbonation, and medium-light bodied.

A hazed dark copper amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with loads of pumpkin pie spices, cloves, ginger and cardamom. In mouth, nutty caramel malt with herbal notes and subdued notes of maple, cloves and ginger, light mineral notes. OK.

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear amber color with a decent off white head. The nose has a little sweet malt, pumpkin, light spices. The flavor leans towards the bready side, more like pumpkin bread than pumpkin pie. Medium body with an off dry finish. Decent.

zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Pours a clear copper orange with a beige head and aroma of spices and pumpkin pie. Taste is sweet, filled with fall spices -ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, with pumpkin, caramel, and malt leading to a dry, spiced finish. Light, refreshing pumpkin brew, very drinkable

On tap @ Firewater’s (Atlantic City). Labeled as Mother Pumpkin. Pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of creamy white head. Aroma of sweet pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and grain. Taste is much the same. Typical pumpkin beer, but pretty good.
