According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, its gone after Thanksgiving.

Draft from Thirsty Monk in Asheville, labeled "Mother Pumpkin" for some reason, but with the same description above. Okay, so its a pumpkin beer, but it felt lighter than most, with more ginger and cinnamon. I did not dislike it, so thats saying something.

12 Ounce bottle. Smell of spices like a pumpkin pie. Bronze in color. Taste is so yummy with the spices and covers the alcohol very well. Smooth with a after bite at the end. Really nice pumpkin.

Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a thin layer of white foamy head that dissipates at a nice even pace. No lacing. The aroma starts with pumpkin flavoring with some cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor leans to the sweet side, but its not so much the fleshiness of a pumpkin ale nor is it artificial. Crisp sweet sort of aftertaste with the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Spices hit appropriately. Overall, its alright as a pumpkin ale. Flavor might be a tad artificial.

Clear, dark gold pour with a white head. The aroma is spicy with pumpkin, ginger, and nutmeg. It has a light body with average carbonation. The taste has just enough spice to cut into the sweetness.

Pour is a crystal clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is a decent fall spice with some cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Flavor is a little weaker than the aroma let on. There still is a nice spice but there is a odd soapy aftertaste. Plenty of spice is left on the tongue. Not as rich as some pumpkin beers but this has a nice spice profile.

A mediocre pumpkin ale. Not particularly spicy but with a solid sweet body. Tried at the Great Nebraska Beerfest with Jess in 2016.

Bottle shamelessly shared at the RLGK tasting, March 2016. Pours a clear amber body with no head, minor lacing. Mouthfeel is thin bodied and spicy, with notes of spicy pumpkin, sweet malts and sugars.

Pours a clear dark amber from a bottle. Aroma is surprisingly banana-y, with typical pumpkin spice and vanilla notes. A little thin with an unpleasant bitterness on the finish. Meh.

Poured into a pint glass. 3.0 A: Clear light orange color. One and a half fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is below average and no lacing is left. 2.75 S: Light pumpkin spices with cinnamon and nutmeg most notable. A light hint of caramel accompany mildly bready malts. Pretty mundane overall. 2.25 T: For an unimpressive as the nose is, the taste is more so. It tastes like a half assed pumpkin ale cut with water. Weak spices, weak malts without any strong anchoring flavor, and no hop flavor presence. 2.0 M: Light body. Watery feel. Moderate carbonation. No creaminess to speak of. 2.0 D: Sad excuse of a pumpkin beer. ★ 654 characters DavoleBomb, Nov 30, 2015

12 oz bottle at home. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have roasted pumpkin, sweet malts, caramel, pumpkin pie spices, some crust, a bit thin but nothing bad, nothing really stands out either.
