My favorite Rye beer of all time... So my rating is a bit biased. Love everything about it. Rich copper in color. Aromas of deep, Rye malts. Taste is a quick hit of Rye with pretty big citrusy hops, 48 IBUs. One of the best if your a fan of Rye ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler at Stony Brook Beverage! Amber pour with a medium , creamy off white head. the rye is more apparent in the flavor then the aroma. Kind of sweet, yet a bit dry. I enjoyed this and it fit the category of getting something different.

On tap. Gingeman NYC. Great beer! Dark Carmel color. Nutty malty with a nice rye finish. I like this beer!

Have had on draft and bottlle. Rye is not too overowering, very nice balance between the rye notes and hoppiness. More hoppy than some IPA’s. Very nice and well balanced. If you like IPA’s and want to venture into rye territory, this would be a great choice.

Medium to light orange, beautiful head that never stops and leaves a thick lace. Aroma is floral hops and light rye spiciness. Flavor is rye accented spicy malt with a floral hop finish. Maybe not mind bending over the top flavors, but everything balances nicely, making for an enjoyable beer.

This is a great ryePA. The malt character comes through in the aroma as well as nicely balancing the hops and rye. It brings out my inna Rasta. Yeah Jah! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Waterfront, New York on 9th July 2013. Slightly hazy amber with white ring of initially lacing foam. Yeastiness, hops and sweet malts in aroma. Hoppy with rear-mouth grassiness, while caramel malt clings to front of mouth. Bittersweet, well-balanced finish -bitterness among smoothly-blended flavours. Light carbonation, easy drinking for the strength.

Tap at Corrigans in St Pete. Smooth. Kinda fruity aftertaste for a rye beer . Personally liked it more than other reviewers

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2009
Sampled on draft at D’s Monroeville this beer poured a vibrant orange-amber color with a large orange-white head that lingers. The aroma was strong sweet fruity hops with a faint spicy undertone. The flavor was strong sweet and bitter fruity hops with a piney element and a touch of dry spice in the middle. The finish was long, spicy and hoppy. The mouthfeel was fairly thick and a bit syrupy. Complex and well done.

poured into glass from 22oz bottle, deep golden orange color, the aroma is slightly sour and doesn’t quite prepare for the huge piney taste of this beer. medium (oily?) body with a pleasing dense sourness, well-balanced by a hoppy bitter aftertaste. Excellent find.
