, Stockholm. Black colour, big creamy beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee, some smoked wet wood as well as some mild notes of cherries. Flavour is quite much the same and also has some liquorice and tarry notes in addition. Cherries barely show in this brew.
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Almost black, rich creamy head. Tarry nose with fruity black currant. Sweet and very full bodied, soft with amounts of roasty malt coming across as tar and licorice. The sour cherries are subtle in comparison, making this a harmonious despite the somewhat crazy concept. Perhaps the overt sweetness disturbs a little bit in the finish.
