My new favorite beer. Dark, easy to drink. Not to much cherry, but the smell is amazing.

Bottle from Publix, Sarasota. Pours a deep coffee-colored black with a medium beige head. Nose is rich malt and chocolate with a hint of dark fruits. Taste is dark chocolate and malt with the sour cherry coming only in the first sip...after that it was greatly diminished but faintly present. Body was rich, thick, and oily. Finishes on malty chocolate notes, much like a Korbinian only sweeter. Thoroughly enjoyable and delicious! Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Bottle. Dark, but thin visual appeal. Head is firm and holding. Chalky, baking chocolate aroma. Bountiful drink ... rich with full chocolate in the background, a nice cherry pie swirl in the front. Good, good stuff. (#5428, 2/7/2014) 721Lance (82) - Oceanside Ca, California, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Hate to give in bev such a good rating but this one is great, nice coffe stout thing going on and excellent cherry flavor and nose. I would recommend despite haters, try this coffe cherry stout! Cybercat (5895) - Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Comes out of the tap a warm sable just a scratch above black with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Malty aroma has chocolate, caramel, cherry and nutty hints. Satisfying flavor has a core of roast malt plus notes of cherry, more sweet than sour, Texture has good body and plenty of fizz. If you like cherries and stouts, this is a must!

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2007 I thought this was pretty nice. Not overpowering with a nice slight cherry flavor. Hints in the aroma of their Oatmeal stout and a nice smooth flavor. Excellent brew. Top notch. apoptosis (1317) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 13, 2006
Tap at the brewery: Yummy. Very authentic cherry aroma with strong notes of chocolate and coffee. Very well-balanced, with the perfect amount of sweetness, tartness and creaminess. In fact, I’m impressed with how smooth this one is, considering that cherries sometimes make things too tart to be called "smooth". There is a slight astringency in the finish from the alcohol, but it’s warming and not bothersome, nor does it detract from enjoying the rest of the experience. saint386 (4) - Lancaster, New York, USA - JUN 9, 2006 does not count
Draft: inky in the glass as it should be.Roasty and fruity nose. Very complex taste but true to style. Fruity and roasted finish with slight alcohol at the back of the throat. Didn’t get any cherries but I’m sure they have a hand in the overall taste profile. Very nice but high alcohol makes for limited consumption at one sitting. Draft at DRE. Deep black/ruby edged pour, with creamy, 1-finger tan head. Aroma of heavy dark chocolate, molasses, dark malt, mild cherry. Tastes rich and roasty dark malty, with dark chocolate and subdued cherry notes. Rich, creamy palate, with solid complexity. I had two glasses of this and will likely growler it in the future. This is a very good beer. nbutler11 (1267) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2010
On tap at Rattle-N-Hum in NYC. Pours charcoal black in color with a trim beige head. Smells and tastes of dark cherries, cream, toasted malts, caramel, and coffee. Probably the best beer I’ve tried from Blue Point. Good stuff.
