Can, on the airplane. Light brown colour, thin head. Aroma is much more caramelly than toasty. Same thing on the palate...it's really a sweet, caramelly lager, and that's it. konungen (648) - - OCT 12, 2017
Helt ok lager, inget man längtar efter att dricka igen men funkar absolut. Drucken i NY

Lettere toasted, lettere karameliseret. God lager stil, uden at være det
amber, clear, white ikke imponerende foam,
light sweetness, undgår bitterhed, men beholder den letmaltede karakter
medium body, slick feel, abrupt finish, average carbonation,
Er god for sig selv, eller til en sandwich. Vil gerne købe igen. rauchbier (3928) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2017
Bottle. Amber gold, thin short lived white head and gentle condition. Slightly malty nose with a hint of burnt toffee and biscuits, full bodied and malty in the mouth, with a slight melanoidin note but developing a tingle of peppery bitterness that becomes quite dry. Finish has low malt and hint of burnt toffee, and a slightly estery afternote. meccahh69lol (326) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - SEP 25, 2017
From a tall boy into a glass. This one isn't too interesting, but its not the worst thing either. It has a vaguely sweet frat basement aroma and looks a darkish amber with a thin head. It tastes like a thin amber ale, some throat yakk, and a bit of sugar, but nothing too overwhelming in any direction. Good for a poopy monday of hanging in the refrigerated b-room wit yo boom boom.

5/10/16 Highly carbonated. Crisp and dry. Nothing stand out just a well-balanced solid lager. This would be easy to drink one after the other all night

10-09-2017; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their September discovery box).
The looks of the beer are fine. The colour of the beer is a rather dark golden yellow, approaching amber. The beer itself is pretty much crystal clear. I don't really see any bubbles rising in the beer. On top of the beer some rough slightly brownish white foam is formed. Foam retention is rather low. The foam quickly disappears, leaving not much.
The smell of the beer is rather mild. I hoped it to be stronger. I smell some sweet malts, with a hoppy fresh fruity note. It is nice, but way to weak. There is a nice gummy kind of sweet touch there to, not bad, but all very mild.
The taste of the beer is better. It is way stronger. There is a very nice sweet malty flavour. It has a minimal toasty edge, not enough to call it a 'toasted lager', at least not in my opinion. Besides the sweet malts, there is also a touch of almond, some fruits, a slight syrupy touch and nice bitter and refreshing hops. The fruits have a slight hing of fresh apples. It is nice together with the slight syrupy, or caramel touch. Not bad. The hops are a nice balancing factor for the rather strong malts. This makes te beer well balanced.
The palate of the beer is average. It has a medium body, is slightly tingling and has a medium high carbonation. The finish contains mainly the sweet malts, caramel and some of the bitter hops. The end of the finish is rather dry. All in all, a nice beer, but not as toasted as expected. Roymullins (25) - - SEP 2, 2017
Nice malty lager. Most lagers are to weak and thin for my ale-scorched palate but this one holds up well- will enjoy again.
