Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

Bottle from the Beer Hawk advent calendar. Smooth, malty, fudge and caramel notes. Easy drinking but a little too buttery on the palate for me.

Clear copper colour with medium slightly off-white foam. Aromas of light caramel and biscuit malts with a bready and warm slice of toast with a chunk of butter on it notes. Palate, medium/light body with slick texture leaving nice long malty finish. Taste, sweet of caramel and light lager malts with a touch of bread and grains. Overall, rather nice, easy going and tasty amber lager. Enjoyable.

Loved this one, like a grown up Budweiser. Could very easily sink a fair few of these bad boys. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice dark amber, with a white head. Aroma is slight biscuit, cornflakes. Taste is light malty biscuit, some subtle lemon zest. finishing very slightly bitter. Thin bodied, medium to high carbonation. Nice lager.

Bottle at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. More of an ale than a lager and a surprising richness to the beer. A dark colour, little head and a strong sweet maltiness to the beer. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me.

Looks great when poured, nice dark amber colour. Quite a sour taste, not to my liking ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle. In a Cantillon tumbler. Burnt orange colour..pumpkin colours...with a reasonably ok white icy head of suds... not too much toasted texture in the aromas...caramel, bread, hay maybe. Lot's of caramelized flavours. Kinda sticky . Semi dry . Chugged this fast .. nothing too bad or good with this. Reasonably ok .

Flaska från Sabina. Smak och doft av humle, malt, citrus, bröd. Fruktig, rund och len, lätt kropp och sötma.

Bottle from Saveur Bière.com. Golden color, white head. Toasted grain, some smoke, drinkable lager.... Ok

Was not aware that this was a US beer as we got this in an Irish Pub in Birmingham. A good refreshing Lager with a spectrum of different tastes, that is extremely drinkable, tasty and varied. A real recommendation.
