COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewings Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Scents of bread and yeast. Pours a brown gold with a rocky fast disipating head. Some lacing. Balanced tastes of bread, yeast and leather. Slightly sour hoppy finish. Very drinkable.

A pretty solid lager. Light and crisp with a better than decent body. Tried at the Great Nebraska Beerfest with Jess in 2016.

Draft. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a clear, light copper (SRM 16) body......nose is moderate toasted malts, with cracker, biscuit tones, toffee hints, minimal hops, balance to the malts......taste is mildly sweet with cracker, biscuit, toast from the malts, finishing with mild lightly spicy hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a pleasant, clean, refreshing, not particularly complex beer, that is more of a Lager than an Ale. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

On tap. Darkish amber with a thin head. Very caramelly, toasted and varnish-y. Kind of a nutty oiliness to the taste especially, like walnut or hazelnut. Pretty good on the whole.

Blue Points Toasted Lager is a totally okay beer to fit just about any setting or time of year. Brownish amber color. Toast notes are light and pleasant. As youd expect, bread-like Lager yeast and mild-medium hops. Light-medium bodied. I expect to see this around more and would probably get another.

Much like those Spanish toasted lagers, actually. Clean fermentation and light toasty malts. Drinks just fine, but a little undercarbonated. Its nice enough. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bire)
